So is this a "my exercise was worse than your exercise" contest of one-upmanship? 

I didn't exercise at all today. Or most days.

I think that puts me in the worst boat xD

I patrolled 8 train stations and screened 27 people the other day over 8 hours with only 2 breaks totaling 55 minutes. So... yeah.

Well I had to drive 42 miles, delivering mail to over a thousand people yesterday. Nevermind that it was almost all junk mail and coupon pamphlets!

So is this a "my exercise was worse than your exercise" contest of one-upmanship? 

I like how all three exercises were approximately the same distance.

I got to sit on my ass and work, then come home and sit on my ass some more.

I win.

So I was cleaning the apartment today, and found some old mementos that triggered some memories: a pile of letters and drawn pictures from the kids whose class I worked in when I was a Paraeducator, another pile of back and forth notes from an ex girlfriend of mine in high school when we were dating, a birthday card from my best friend from my 16th birthday, and the valentines card from my ex boyfriend that I was deeply in love with.

I actually almost started crying when I saw the valentine and read it again.  If it wasn't for the fact that I've been texting my boyfriend throughout the cleaning process, I probably would have broken down into tears since I still have some feelings for my ex.  -_-  I ended up throwing away the valentine and am pushing myself to move on from those feelings since I have a new guy in my life that I actually am in love with.

I haven't posted here in a while because i dont have much to say most of the time...im not very good at idle chit-chat. anyway the reason i post here today is just to say hi and to say that i hope you are all well. also, I am here to declare formally that i am now formulating a plan for both world domination and wintreathian domination. the first thing is of no concern to you guys i just like to mention it since its always on my mind. the second however means that i will try my upmost to truly put work in for the region and i will finally start towards my goals of being important here (maybe a government position or something...i have a few ideas) and entering the adult section. basically what im saying friends is that im gonna try to be more active and more noticeable here on the forum (since most of my activity is on IRC). wow thats a lot but i felt like putting it out there. goodnight everyone.

In any case, received my first full paycheck since April today...very happy not to have to go further into debt, though now I have to fight to get out of the debt the whole mess put me in. I figure I lost ~$1200 total, and ended up about ~$600 behind after tightening my budget and cutting unnecessary things...

Words can't describe how offended I am right now.

It was offensive enough to be told that gay guys should be having sex as soon as possible and that people that wanted to wait had 'unreasonable expectations', but then to have my lifestyle belittled in an attempt to invalidate my opinion and thoughts crossed too many lines...as if I only feel the way I do because I'm not out hooking up with guys and having sex. This coming from the same person who belittled my online friendships as 'not genuine' a few days ago...

Yep, sounds about right.   Because a lot of gay guys hook up, clearly that's exactly what all gay guys should be doing, and anyone who steps out of that is either having sex on the side (but is "totally legit"), or they're being highly unreasonable since they're holding out.

That's actually something that irritates me a bit, since it's a mindset that even a lot of gay guys themselves take on.  Why bother even staying in a relationship with someone when they can just have fun with everyone they meet?  Relationships are pointless since you're stuck with just one person.  Don't even get me started with the whole "Netflix and Chill" nonsense.

Coming from someone who has done the hookup thing throughout my college years and somewhat afterwards...it gets rather tiring after a while.  I'd rather be able to have a multiple/every-nighter with someone I actually love rather than live the fuck-and-run lifestyle.

I've actually been "waiting it out" on even getting intimate beyond making out and cuddling with my boyfriend until the right moment.  He knows it, and I told him point blank today that I'm waiting until our 1 month anniversary before trying anything because I want it to be special.  It's not unreasonable to want it to be a special moment...in my case especially since I'm his first boyfriend.

Why is everyone getting a girl/boyfriend except me?

You know, I'm ok with getting sexual once I feel an emotional connection with someone, even just as friends...I'm not a prude by any means, but if other people want to wait or be more exclusive I think that's totally respectable. I'm a live and let live sort of person, so it doesn't set well with me when someone tries to tell someone else how they live is unreasonable, especially if it's because 'everyone else' thinks or does things different. There's a lot of people in the world...surely there are at least a few that would agree with any different mindset.

But what really offended me was that this came from a long-time friend, and especially because of the personal jabs. I was very disappointed and hurt, and I'm left wondering if I should still consider this person a friend.

You know, I used to want one really badly but usually after I got what I wanted, I realized that this wasn't what I thought I'd signed up for. I'm resigned to the fact that I will never be able to provide what 99% of girls want in a guy, so unless I stumble on a member of this 1% I'm gonna die alone.

Maybe it's just women. Sometimes I wonder if it'd be easier for me if I were gay (I mean about this specific side of things, I'm aware that being gay, even in the West, is no joke). With girls it's always about fucking drama that they create and then you have to "sit down and talk about it". Why? It's your fucking brain that's malfunctioning and looking for trouble, not mine.

With guys maybe that's different. Maybe not, though.
