Damn...I'm so sorry to hear that he's not compatible, so to speak.

The good news is that everyone goes through this, and eventually you'll move on and find someone else that you feel just as much for, and hopefully they'll be on your team and feel just the same way for you. I know that's not much in the way of comfort right now though...it's just going to take time, man. Just take it day by day and go from there.

I know it will sound stupid but, you have to keep doing what you do, keep meeting people and stop thinking non-stop about him. I know it's hard even more when you see that person everyday. But you have to keep on living like you'll always did, or change stuff if you feel like it, but don't stop and stare what would never be. Because it's a dark and dangerous road.

Gods, be thankful you haven't reached the age where people seriously consider marriage and stuff yet. You'll just suddenly realise you still have feelings for people when you hear they're getting married. And of course you can't really do anything about it, because you've already had your shot and blown it thoroughly.

You're legit asking the question that makes straight guys a fantasy for gay guys.  Because they're someone that gay guys can never have in most cases.

Really, just give it time.  It's not something that can be done overnight, but just start talking to other guys or do those dating site things (IE OkCupid, etc...).  The more you get yourself out there and start getting to know other guys, the easier it'll hopefully be, since you could very well run into another guy that makes you feel like that...only this time they'd swing your way to where they might feel the same about you.
