I was really confused. One of the ladies behind the counter was looking at me really suspiciously.

But it's something you can relish.  It means that you look really young for your age, and that's never a bad thing.

Well, unless you're 16 and you look 10.  That might be different. 

That is why I keep my hair long...short hair causes it to be really blond and also I look younger too...I'm 16 and a Junior...and I look like a freshman or an 8th grader from what I've been told....

People stopped asking me for my ID when I was about 15 and three quarters. Starting to grow beard, and voice being completely broken by the age of thirteen certainly had their advantages. The problem now is that people think I'm around 28-29, even though I'm turning 23 this March.

My wife and I actually didn't get carded when we bought some alcohol along with a bunch of other junk food this past weekend. That was our first time (we're 24 and 23), so we were really surprised. The store was busy as hell though, so that was probably why.

Two years ago when I was in 8th grade, I went to see a movie with my friend that was PG-13, and the lady behind the counter asked me if I was over the age of eleven ;-;

My parents brought down this old box and it's full of pretty good condition stuff from my great great grandparents from when they left Kiev to come to America

But, I can't really read most of the things in there, since it's all in polish or russian ;o;

I'm not sure, though I know for sure that quite a bit of it is in Polish, I wish I could read the stuff ;o;
All in there that I could really read were the military papers, some of the passports, and a couple other snippets of things

Ah. Ukrainian uses it's own alphabet which is derived from Cyrillic, and uses many Cyrillic letters.

I'm actually partially Russian, my Great Grandfather (IIRC) escaped Russia during the Bolshevik Revolution.

Polish for the most part uses the Latin alphabet; meanwhile, Russian uses the Cyrillic alphabet. Furthermore, Kiev, in the Ukraine, has historically been under Russian/Soviet/Ukrainian influence for well past the last hundred years (although from what I'm finding, the city had ties with Poland at one point). In fact, the documents may even be in Ukrainian. Maybe you could find out which language it is based on the alphabet, and then try to translate it using Google (technically not the most reliable, but probably better than what anyone here could come up with).

I can't read a lot of it, sadly, since for some godly unknown reason, people like to put ink stamps over everything and make it so I'm like is that even a sentence
I got some friends at school who know Russian and Polish, I might ask them for help tomorrow if I remember to take pictures of it :p
