I'm lacking some serious context of the American way of life, but why would that be racist?

i told my.dad he's a trained mechanic who works as a cook.

he assumes most cooks in the back of restaurants are mexicans.

he doesn't understand American cultural etiquette then points out how my sister blindly answers any question he asks her without objection -_-

I took a typing test!

Got carded going into Deadpool, they almost didn't let me in (didn't have my card). They seemed super amused. I thought they were carding me for my credit card, I was so confused.

They were carding me to make sure I wasn't under 18. I'm 27.

Boy, I wish I could be carded because they think I'm 18.  Those days are gone.   

I was really confused. One of the ladies behind the counter was looking at me really suspiciously.
