One thing I'd be worried about is people losing interest and activity dropping, but if you make it clear that new people are welcome when you start the next room (one thread for each room perhaps? dunno) that might counteract that issue.

I didn't dislike any of the puzzles, though I did appreciate hints when we were stuck on something for a while.

I've been playing a lot of online chess to stay in practice, and having a blast, but by God, when I lose because my hand slips from the mouse while moving, I wanna murder someone.

Murder someone with Kind Words.

This week, I can honestly say we had the absolute worst training group come through here, ever. I expressly told them, over and over again, how the Chinese thought of time and deadlines, and told them I would be measuring their performance not only on how well they did with their lessons, but also how they did as an employee, with time management, implementation of feedback and advice, and yes, fucking time management. What do these entitled little shits do? Extend lunch breaks by 10 minutes, come to work wearing a fucking T-shirt and jeans, do all sorts of weird shit with their hair. I finally lost it today and told them I was letting go of all them. THEN they suddenly wanted to start paying attention and following the rules.

Earlier today I was bored and playing around in Facebook...doing a search for 'a', 'b', 'c', just to see who showed up. At some point I came across someone I knew a few years back...I don't even know how they even ended up in my search, since I don't think I ever actually had them on Facebook and at most we had some mutual friends years ago. It made me realize what I was doing, dwelling in the past, and I stopped.

Why do I have such a tendency to dwell in the past? I read somewhere that people who dwell in the past and worry about the future aren't happy with the present...is that it? Or is it some other character flaw that brings me back to the past so often?

Yeah, but I feel like I do more than most, especially when it comes to people I used to be close with but no longer have any contact with...which is a large group, actually. Rare is the person who can stand being a close friend with me for long, apparently. =/

I'm finding the location of the buttons (and page links, perhaps more so) somewhat disorienting, though I supposed I'll get used to it eventually.

Edit: yeah I think I've trained my eyes to scan the bottom left corner to see what page I'm on and I keep getting confused thinking that this topic/subforum only has a single page

I haven't had that problem. I'm actually surprised I haven't since I've made so many posts over the years, but in a way it feels more natural to have the buttons on the left. Very happy with how it turned out.

Yeah I definitely like the bottom of the page having the number of pages/quick hyperlinks to previous pages... it makes catching up on threads easier imo...

They're there, just on the bottom-right rather than bottom-left.

I find that when I'm accessing from my phone, the bottom right is obscured. The bottom left always appeared by default. I'm a grumpy old man and don't like change. I'm tempted to start a #NotMyWintreath campaign for this abomination.

Except that would be silly and it's not really that big of a deal, it's just something to get used to.

In other news, I've been working the last few weekends to try and earn some extra money, and I think I've hit the absolute limit to how far I can push myself. I'm now basically a zombie. I'm not sure how any of my reports are still satisfying any of my superiors, because I'm basically on auto-pilot when I write them, now.

For me I suppose that it's more that it feels more natural to have the page navigation buttons on the left too, I'm hoping the my eye scanning and page zooming/clicking habits are relatively easy to change.
