I actually came up with a pretty damn decent idea for Werewolf, if I say so myself.  It's back to the base game, in a sense with a bit more intrigue and manipulation.

There should be one themed around pastries I'm just saying

I never said you weren't added to the list.  I just said you wouldn't be in the next running if we had elections on the next game.  The same applies to anyone who says they're interested.   You'll be in the elections after next if we decide we want to dictate games that way.

Will there be a Werewolf IX soon?

Since @Rasdanation has volunteered for IX, that'll be up to when he feels ready to post it up.  But he stated that he's going to at least wait until after the festival is over.

Note, the theme for mine isn't exactly what I had said I was going to do before, but more of try to include some more unique roles, which yes, inspired from ToS.

Because this is the closest thing we have to a general Werewolf discussion thread, and unlike Pengu and Laurentus I can't abuse mod powers to post in locked threads...

1. Players who are considered "Invincible" via win condition or are stated as such via their role description are asked to obey the rules of the game regardless of their invincibility.  This includes: not revealing comrades, scan/defense choices,or the like, as well as going back and editing posts once they've been revealed in an attempt to hide evidence/implicate players.

But editing your posts to hide evidence isn't against the rules?... The two sections of this statement simply don't work together... I think this would work better as simply a rule in the game that you can't edit old posts after your role is revealed.

Going back after you've been revealed publicly as a bad guy and editing all your posts, however, is a completely different story.  It's a completely different context since you've already been established as a bad guy, so if you accidentally implicated one of your team mates and you go back and edit it post-reveal, it becomes a problem.

I simply didn't want to take the chance, especially as the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity came up where I wouldn't suffer the social consequence of getting voted off. There was literally no grey area even, as the rule simply did not exist. I even suggested that it SHOULD exist after I did it.

And has action been taken against you?

As far as I recall, you're still in the game as a player and with your invincibility intact until your teammates are voted out.  I even mentioned in the threads that if you did it again, then action may be taken.  But as far as now, nobody is getting hit with anything.  Sapph was already killed off and was already talked to about it in PM.  You were already given the warning in the thread for future occurrences.  Nobody is getting a penalty at this moment unless they break the rules AFTER the new decree was posted.

Yes that is a different matter entirely, but it still isn't against the rules. What I meant is that it should be changed to something like this, to reduce confusion:
