And finally, the last portion of the election season: the appointment of a new Overhusen.

Filling out the Overhusen for this session was particularly challenging because every seat became vacant, but I felt that it was important to have a full Overhusen considering the sort of laws we're likely to have before us this term. To that end, I have appointed Joshua Bluteisen, Wuufu, Weissreich, Colberius X, and myself to the Overhusen. I feel that this team will represent the Monarchy well while providing the Overhusen with diverse perspectives and viewpoints as we consider legislation this term, and I am appreciative that they all accepted my offer of service to the region.

I'm glad to see that it'll be a full OH!  Congrats to everyone that was appointed, as I know each of you is a fine asset to the OH.  ^_^

Why Colberius X?  He is new to the region.

I have been in the region longer and I have not been appointed anything and it is disappointing how you deliberately ignore consideration for me for any post :-/

The role of the Overhusen is to represent the Monarchy, and based on your past actions I do not believe that you could do that in a constructive manner. Members of the Overhusen do not have to agree with the Monarchy of course, but they should have the ability to understand the Monarchy's position in matters and to disagree and present their views in a respectable manner, something which you have proven time and time again that you cannot do.

While Colberius is a relatively new Citizen, he has been involved with the region and the community for many months now, and I've found him to be a level-headed and thoughtful person. I believe he's capable of looking at all perspectives of an issue, keeping in mind how it may effect the Monarchy he is representing, and respectfully supporting the position he feels is best for the region.

Had you wanted to be in the legislature, you could have ran for the Underhusen. I've no clue why you would decline to run and then complain when I don't appoint you to a position.

You just answered your own question.

When you have to ask why you're not being appointed, it's clear that you're showing that you feel entitled to being on the OH, especially when you say that someone else doesn't deserve it as much as you because you've been here longer.

Wintermoot chooses who will best represent the region and the monarchy, and it's not an easy task for him to do.  Asking him things like this only make it less likely that he'll ever appoint you in the future.
