Roles Explained
Ambassador - You represent our region to the various lands and organisations abroad that Wintreath has relations with. You are expected to have an account on, and contribute to, this region's forum and be present in their IRC channel whenever possible. Ambassadors who are found to be unaware of current events in their assigned location will be dismissed. Applicants for ambassadorship should have at least 100 posts on these forums and have already served as a member of the foreign office in another position.
Diplomat - A more specialised position. The role of a diplomat is to represent Wintreath during treaty drafting and debate. Although not representing our region to any one region in particular, you will be expected to have a basic understanding of current events throughout the NS Gameplay world.
Civil Servant - A lighter role, for those less willing to venture away from our shores. The role of a Civil Servant is to draft and write the region's foreign dispatch. This a monthly release detailing the goings-on within our region, which is vital as it keeps our allies abroad informed about the political and social climate within our region. They can also be helpful in attracting more experienced players to the region, so it's a very important document. All members of the Foreign Office will be expected to the dispatch, this role is simply for those who do not wish to hold any other duties.
