As it so happens, Civ V is included in today's Steam sale! You can get Civ V Complete Edition (with all major expansions and some smaller packs) for $12.49, or get either Gods and Kings or Brave New World for $7.49. A nice last-minute get if you need one of these things

Highlight's from today's game:

-We played an Earth map
-I was in China, Reon in India, Hannah in Europe, Chanku in Africa, and Hugsim all by his lonesome in North America.
-Reon left halfway through, though Steam says he started playing Risk of Rain right afterward. Dunno what that's about.
-Chanku launched the only war in the game, resulting in nearly ten units of his being destroyed to my 0, resulting in him paying reparations of 5GPT to end the war.
-Some sort of converting going on between Hannah and Hugsim?
-Turns were slowwwwwww. Enable time limits next time.
-Game was not completed. We will complete the game sometime...later...maybe.
-This game has been saved with the five other MP games we were going to finish sometime.

You can only deny the power of my religion for so long!  Soon you will all be enveloped in it's eternal grasp.   

Seriously though I am going to try my best to keep that game going.  Especially now that I know that it is rare a game continues after it's been saved.

It's actually never happened before...it's saved and forgotten about, then we have different people for the next time and we all start a new game.

I'm actually going to investigate other options too...like pitboss mode or the third-party play-by-email options. I think it'd be neat to play a game through a long period of time as people were available, plus it wouldn't require long sessions unless everyone happened to be around and wanted one.

Sorry about that mates, I went off to do this thing at this burger place that shouldn't of been for 18 more hours. The guy I share my account with started playing RoR. He's also the guy who plays CS:GO, for reference... That ain't me.
