A Proclamation Regarding the House of Meindhert
Through Royal Decrees 004 and 005, we have had the framework to create a nobility of Citizens that have greatly contributed to our community, our culture, and our region in general...but actually selecting a family for this honour is something I could not rush into or take lightly. In order to receive this honour, a family has to have been active, been loyal and faithful to the Crown and to the region, and have been a force for the improvement of our region over a great period of time. However, some individuals in a particular family have proved themselves worthy of such an honour, and I hope that this Proclamation will bring glory to themselves and to their family.
The first person to be elevated into the nobility of our region is...Weissreich! As one of the oldest members of our community, his contributions to the region are numerous. He was elected to the Underhusen numerous times, showing himself to have the trust of the Citizenry, where he drafted both our judicial process and our code of laws. In addition, he has almost single-handedly built and promoted our library of lore to the point where it's quality is comparable to many RPG games, by creating and describing locations, building a timeline of roleplay events in the region, and creating one of the most detailed hand-drawn maps I have ever seen. He has also proved himself loyal to the region time and again, earning a well-deserved spot in the Overhusen for the current term. Then there's the more intangible things...the many issues and ideas he's advised me on over the months, the things he has done just as a good community member and friend, and more. It's safe to say that this region would not be the same without him.
Thus, by proclamation of the Monarch, Klause Eldrys-Nadír Meindhert is hereby risen into the nobility as a Duke of Wintreath, with no land grant attached at this time, in recognition of his many accomplishments for the betterment of the Frozen Realm of Wintreath, its community, and the people within it.Additionally, I feel that the time has come to elevate...Amalya! While she is a much newer member of our community, neither or accomplishments or her presence as a member of our community can be understated. Like Weissreich, she has been elected to the Underhusen for numerous terms, serving as Speaker during the previous term. She has created in my opinion one of the most unique roleplays that I've seen in NationStates, and has most recently proved herself worthy of the title of Jarl of Culture through a test of her ability to improve and promote our regional culture. In addition, she has been one of the most friendly and outgoing members of the community. I feel that she embodies what our community should be perfectly, and I've told her before that we need more people just like her! In spite of all this, I believe that this is just the beginning, and there are many more accomplishments, victories, and honours awaiting her in the future. But for now...
Daphne Amalya Meindhert is hereby risen into the nobility as the Countess of Bain, in recognition of her accomplishments for the betterment of the Frozen Realm of Wintreath, it's community, and the people within it.Additionally, as allowed in Royal Decree 005, the House of Meindhert shall be known henceforth as the Noble House of Meindhert, whose members shall have all the rights and responsibilities afforded to a proper Noble House.Congrats to both of you, and to the Meindhert family. It's well deserved!
