European Wars

The history of Europe is marred in blood, death destruction and despair (Well not entirely). I discovered that my sister had a huge book when he was studying at LMU. It was the short version of a 3223 page book known as the history of Europe. European history is so friken expansive and epic that I wanted to see if there was any interest in the idea that we have one nation rp centrered in old Europe.  Think of it privateers screwing up trade of your enemies, huge cannon and musket battles, wars of the throne and succession of dynasties, religious wars and crusades, colonisation of the new world, battles over the high seas, revolutions and communes of the proletariat, forming alliances and coalitions, uniting new nations through formations of dynasties or by the sword, which path will you choose?

I haven’t worked out the specifics but I am just looking for interest interest right now.

God Damn it Prussia was going to be my thing. Well lets see if I can change history nd be Austria just to spite you. Deutsche Dualism. Or maybe I'll be the Ottomans and cleanse the world of the Kingdom of Christendom. 

a Thirty Years War RP ?

30 years war seems like a good starting point, or maybe the Italian wars when the French and Austrians were laying waste to the Italian peninsula, or the 3rd Crusade if you want a holy war vibe with Monastic Knight states. Or the War of the League of Cambrai, or maybe The War of Austrian succession? I might have to poll this.

Yell you what Nobody has made thier claims official so I might grant you Prussia, but we aren't being exactly hisrorical in this RP, just because Prussia united Germany in this world doesn't men it will in this rp.

I don't care about uniting Germany, so that is fine

Also as Brandenburg-Prussia I would be part of the HRE

So will I as Austria. I plan to militarise Austria as well. Not this decadent affluent and fat do nothing Habsburgs.

I'm interested. Do you have a general idea of what time period? Maybe a defined century or two?

I would say 1517-1527, that is the time when Martian Luther is causing a trouble and causing a rift within the Catholic world. The Reformation starting/in the middle of. Gives us great room to start some religious wars.
