So, someone has reported to me that their items have been stolen on the server...specifically diamonds, iron, gold, and enchanted items. Regardless of how friendly the server is supposed to be or how resistant Denth is to doing mods, it seems obvious at this point that we need security mods and rule enforcement to ensure that the server, not to mention our regional values, continues to grow and prosper.

If you live and have items near the spawn point, I highly recommend you check your place out and report here if anything seems missing. I will be furiously poking Denth to get to the bottom of this, so we can find the culprit and distribute wrathful justice.

While the Minecraft server isn't an official Wintreath property, I fully expect it to reflect our regional values of cooperation and community. If we can't do that...well, that'll be why we can't have nice things.

Just so y'all know, I have server logs, so I can figure it out.

Also, I already have a list of suspects, and yes, I'm pretty sure I already know who it is.

This may be my fault.

Some of the new guys were on the minecraft server last night and I looked in for a bit to talk. Along the way one of them mentioned they'd found a house and taken some items, and upon asking whose said it as Chanku's. I assumed they meant a few stone and wood etc to make tools and maybe a few torches. I then replied saying I something like I'm not in much but I don't think Chanku's that active on MC any more, basing that off the fact e hasn't posted stuff in the Wintreath survival thread for a while.

Well, even if Chanku hasn't been on, it's still his stuff...but besides that, it wasn't Chanku that reported it, so we seem to have a widespread problem as I feared. I wouldn't be surprised if every house near the spawn had been looted of valuables. =/

My own stuff is untouched, but I'm a good distance away from the spawn point so it wouldn't be easy to find. As someone that has chests out in plain site though, it's pretty disappointing.

Considering I've never been on the server, or played Minecraft on the PC. Yes.

However, I understand the toil of gathering those items, so aside from my joke, I hope yall find the culprit and administer the appropriate flogging.
