As most of you should know me by know, I am Chanku the Jarl of Information, the Current Speaker of the Underhusen, and the Acting Jarl of Foreign Affairs. Here is why you should vote for me:

• I have brought forth a majority of the acts in the Underhusen.
• I understand the Underhusen's inner-workings as I helped draft the Underhusen's section in the Fundamental Laws.
• I have only the good of Wintreath in mind when I bring proposals to the Underhusen.

Now some of you may argue that because I am in the Riksrad I should not be allowed to stand or be voted in, here's my responses to that:

• The Riksrad and the Sorting are two different branches with two different goals. One just runs and oversees the ministries while the other actively shapes Wintreath.

Also as a Member of the Underhusen and a new member I know the view of being a newcomer very well,  unlike some of the other candidates. I also have a different view on things than some of the other members. I also believe that any Wintrean Citizen should be able to run and be elected to the Underhusen. I will also read and review any and all laws that are brought forth in the Citizen's Platform and should I believe the bill should be brought to the Underhusen at the time, I will. If not I will give feedback on the bill and help the writer improve it, or explain why it isn't needed. If you wish to ask me any questions then please feel free to ask, and I will respond as quickly as possible

I believe Alt is aware of the separation of powers, and that it forms the basis of his argument against you. Also, personally, I think the Executive Departments do more to "actively shape Wintreath" than the Storting.

True however with the way it seems lately, most of the Riksrad hasn't done much to actively shape Wintreath.

You make it sound like I have something against Chanku... While I do find that some of his actions lately have been borderline, and we will not discuss them here, I don't have something against him election-wise.
I have something against all Riksrad members running for UH or being considered for OH. There should be a separation of powers in Wintreath for two reasons:

• Separation of powers is key to the region functioning in a more efficient way. Chanku, if he goes on to be the full time Jarl of Foreign Affairs, and stays as Jarl of Information and also has a UH role, in what is hopefully going to be a more active UH term, he will be stretched for time, especially as JoFA. Now, he might have that spare time, but I don't think that he should be spending all that time on here either.
• If there's one person fulfilling three positions, it takes away from the active roles we want people to play. It's why we have a seven seat UH for the 4th term instead of a five seat like the past three terms. We want people to take a more active role in Wintreath and this can't happen if a six or seven of people are taking up all the positions.

Also, Chanku, FA and Defense shape Wintreath all the time. These do it in political ways. WA is up there with political, but also increases activity, as all departments do. Integration is focused in increasing activity and bringing more people in, a key factor in shaping how Wintreath is run. Culture affects participation and activity as well. Information affects us in political ways and relations with other regions.
The Ministries affect Wintreath in a lot of consistent and ever-present ways, we're just too used to them to really notice them.

Well I guess that's true, however I actually spend most of my free time online and on wintreath's forums. I also don't mind to spend even more time on the forums, as I find it fun in a way.

Not saying it isn't fun, or ordering you to do something else, I am saying that it's still inefficient, and if we set you as a precedent, then others will also start to bite off more than they can chew and our community will start to grind to a halt as people become overburdened.

True, however Moot is also the king. However this is something I have a lot of spare time to work on.

Sorry for overlooking this. Well to be honest my largest regret is drafting the Code of Laws so late in the Session, and my greatest accomplishment is writing it.

I have tried. Although Denth's statements don't worry me as much, I know he hates the way I write the bills.
