As you know, Pengu resigned as Jarl of Culture several months ago and the position has been vacant ever sense. Our culture has wonderfully ran itself in the absence of a Jarl of Culture, which is awesome! It's what we set out to do this summer when it became clear that no one person could be on top of every cultural endeavor in the region. However, with someone dedicated to the culture of the region, we could do even more. to that effect I am appointing Gerrick as our new Jarl of Culture!

Gerrick has not only been involved in many of our cultural endeavors, he has also created his own in the form of a successful arena game. As Jarl of Culture, he will continue the work that we have been doing: encouraging Citizens to take up the mantle of various cultural games and events, helping them get things going if needed, and maintaining interest and outreach for the things that we do. I believe Gerrick will be a great Jarl of Culture. Please join me in congratulating him.

Congrats Gerrick!  I now you'll do the position proud.
