Saw the video below on my YouTube feed It's by Kurzgesagt a channel I found a while back and have been really enjoying; their most recent video about NTD and the parasites that cause them I find is quite optimistic (which I like).

It covers several types of the parasites and the conditions related to them, and goes over the London Declaration and the 2020 goal to eradicate what were 5 years ago 10 of the third worlds worst conditions. The declaration was written by several of the worlds largest Pharma companies which as of this year have distributed 2.4 billion medications treating over 1 billion people all completely free of charge, reducing the effective spread of NTD and related conditions by 99.99% since 2008. So what do you think about this? I know I had heard about the London Declaration before from my brother but I am curious if anyone else had? The declaration at first received a lot of criticism over potentially being a PR stunt by big pharma, even if that was the original intended idea do you think it is still a good thing?

Huh, I had never heard of the London Declaration before. Really, even if this is a publicity stunt, it'll still help millions of people. I'm quite pleasantly surprised to hear about this.
