Wintreath Underhusen Election
Vote Here!

Voting for the Underhusen is now open! You can vote for up to four candidates. You may also vote for fewer people by writing in "Abstain" on any slot you don't want to fill with a candidate. You may post your ballot in this topic, or PM it to me if you wish for your ballot to remain private. Ballots will be counted and the results will be given at the end of the election one week from today. Good luck to all our candidates!

Some short thoughts for the ones who I didn't vote for:

Eldarion - I would love to vote for the Potato Pope himself, but currently, you just haven't promised us anything and have been kinda inactive in your campaign.

libertarin - You definetly have been active, that's for sure. But my one main problem is that you haven't established yourself in Wintreath much, so we haven't really gotten to know you and your personality yet, especially seeing that you've had 4 non-campaign posts, one being your citizenship form. So, my suggestion is that you include yourself in more of the forums, so that we can get to know you better.

Ashton Mercer - While I do see that you are a popular choice, you haven't addressed much for what you're going to do as UH, so that's what caused me to not vote for you.

tatte - Literally nothing to say about this, you don't even have a campaign up!

Actually, Ras has the right idea.  I'll share my thoughts on the ones I didn't vote vote as well.

Tatte: Ras pretty much explained my reasoning on that one.  I tend to lean towards candidates that campaign and show that they want the support, rather than relying on the fact that people already know them.

trader: I know you from the chat, but I don't really know you too well outside of the forums, so that was the main reason I didn't vote for you.  I want to see what you're like outside of the chat, which may be more of my fault since I just haven't really seen much of your posts.

Libertin: Again, Ras pretty much nailed it.  I noticed you applied very shortly after you just joined the forums.  While I greatly approve of the enthusiasm, I always think it's best to wait a bit until people have gotten the chance to know you before jumping headfirst into elections.  Even though it's not a requirement, to me it's an unwritten one so that people can see more of where you're coming from.

Chanku: I respect you as a person, and you've gotten better as time progressed.  However, you were supposed to take time off if I recall to better yourself, and you didn't do that.  While I respect that you chose to stay in Wintreath, I still think that you need to take time away, and that includes away from politics as well.

As for the ones that I did vote for:

HannahB: You've already shown time and time again that you're a capable person to have in the Underhusen, so I'll gladly support and vote for you every time you run until the moment that you show otherwise, which I highly doubt will ever happen.

Eldarion: You've had good terms, as well as quiet ones.  While it's true that you haven't been the most active as of late, I'm willing to give you another shot because I know how you work when you aren't busy.

Taulover: Like with HannahB, I know you're a capable enough person to where I always trust you'll do well enough in the Underhusen unless you give reason not to.  As that's yet to happen, I'm always willing to give you my vote and support for a spot in the Underhusen.

Ashton Mercer: While no, you haven't completely addressed what you're going to do in the Underhusen, I have somewhat of a notion of where you come from based on how I've seen you present yourself on Wintreath.  You have some very strong, but welcoming opinions, and I'm eager to see how that will play out in the Underhusen if you were working alongside members like Hannah and Taulover.
