Section I

1. My nation name is Quevola (The Democratic Republic of Quevola), and I come from the region The Coalition of Democratic Nations (The CDN).

2. No, I am not replacing someone, but soon someone may be replacing me. Since I am the Prime Minister of The CDN, I cannot be the ambassador so someone else will be coming if we choose to create embassies.

3. No, we don't yet have relations with each other yet. I am also applying for an embassy.

Section II

1. The Coalition of Democratic Nations believes in strong democratic principals, and one of our member nations pointed Wintreath out, so I looked at it, and I instantly knew that our two regions could have a great relationship with each other. So I sent a embassy request and went on here to fill out this application.

2. The Coalition of Democratic Nation can be a very helpful region. We can aid in military relief, help ease tension between Wintreath and any other region, team up together for various things, broaden your connections with other regions, make a bigger community, ect. I really think that our two regions could help each other greatly.

3. The Coalition of Democratic Nations is fairly new, so our military stance has to be neutral, for our military is not yet organized. Once my region settles down and becomes more active in Foreign Affairs, we will aid Defenders, since the majority of The CDN believe in the defender cause, but will not become a defender itself. We see the need to stop raiders, but don't quite yet have the resources to do so.

I would also recommend looking at our nation states page and see for yourself the vibrant community in The CDN.

In the meantime I'm curious...how did your region go from 0 to ~130 nations on the first day? That's very unusual in NS.

Lots and lots and lots of recruiting. I sent out a message to all WA Nations, which in total brought about 200 nations to our region, and then other recruiting.

I only recruited from feeder regions. The WA message made some people angry, but they forgot it by now.

Yeah, recruitment of older nations in a region does tend to anger said region, but at least you didn't recruit every nation in the game like some have.

I'm still curious about your story though...what led to the founding of the CDN? What's the story behind it?

I used to be in a region called the Fire Dragons. It was very inactive and desolate except for the government. The 'Lord' decided to get rid of it, so he ejected all the nations and moved another small, more active, but still inactive, region. My choices were move to that region and become inactive, or move to a big region and be forgotten. But then I remembered you can found regions, so I did, The Coalition of Democratic Nations, where it would be "big enough to be organized, but small enough so that you won't be forgotten or ignored." I guess this really resonated with people because when I started recruiting people came.

How is the decision process coming?

Yes, I was the Prime Minister of the Fire Dragons, so I did have a lot of experience. It was very frustrating because I had just finished a draft of our constitution that was going to be voted on, but it was to late.

It is very interesting to look at new regions and wonder, will they be the next 10000 Islands?

That is is...of course, 10000 Islands isn't really the 10000 Islands of yesteryear, thanks to stamps and the NS++ API making recruitment more competitive.
