Oohhh...that sounds like a fun idea! I don't have any current desk shots, but this is my desk from Christmas two years ago...

The right side of the screen is a crappy web game named Elvoria I used to play to pass time before I found NationStates, while the left is Path of Exile, a rather good cRPG that's probably the most true to Diablo II and the like. Also back before I quit soda, so there was always a can on my desk.

Oh yeah, and that's my room in my old house. I moved to a new house last September.

Desktop:

I got crazy censoring stuff, but posting a picture of the same background three times would have been far more insane. As you can see from the second picture below, the third screen (TV) isn't really on the top of the first screen, but it's a lot easier to keep track of the mouse this way.

Desk itself:

Yellowish tables + floor, yellow coach (the corner can be seen at the bottom left corner) and flowery yellow wall paper... I swear it's not this yellow in real life! In any case this is my home still for the next five months, after that I return to my cityhome (with white walls & floors + black furniture).

The cases under the TV are typewriters; my local catches so far (hasn't been a good "season").

Sadly I do not have any desk shots as I never decided to just... take a picture of my desk randomly, and I have no camera in my possession.

I really wish I had the time to put effort into my desktop with all the cool widgets and Rainmaker stuff you guys are using (I'm assuming the program is Rainmaker...or is it Rainmeter? idk...). I wish I still had some of the desktops I had when I was into that.

But the worst thing is that Windows 8.

Eww, Windows 8.

Actually, having gotten used to it... I actually like windows 8's functionalities and can now usually perform tasks faster while using it compared to windows 7.

I couldn't stand this. I have arranged my icons by colour. ._. But that's mainly because I don't really even use that screen. I don't need many programs, so the task bar fills most of my needs.

I'm the same way. I actually can't stand using that side of the UI. Using the desktop is just so more...natural.

Am I the only one who uses that side to great effect? With the live tiles and the connected accounts and features and that I can switch to it at most times it's very much an improved form of Windows + Tab where I can keep careful track of everything with a quick glance. Seriously it's raised my efficiency an absurd amount...
