In this instance it does not. Elections held over multiple time-zones are always going to be difficult to measure properly as people will be voting at different points in the day or night etc. Furthermore, no-one is online all the time every day, so a 5 minutes premature closure really means nothing. There is no issue here, so please let's not make one.
