By popular demand (or the demand of one person at least!), I'm going to take another shot at getting a Spyfall game together.

This is a very simple game to play and requires almost no time commitment. Each player is given a location and their role in it, except for the spy, who is just given that role. Starting with a player picked at random, one player asks another a question, then the person who answered can ask another player (except for the one who asked them the question) a question, and so on. Based on the answers given, the spy is trying to guess the location, while everyone else is trying to guess who the spy is. The first side to succeed in doing that is the winner!

If you'd like to play in the upcoming game, post here. The game will start when there are 8 players OR when there are 6 players on or after Saturday, January 11th.

Like all Spyfall games, there will be a location and location-related roles will be assigned, so if there's any theme at all it'll be based on the location.

That being said, the location will either be general enough that the spy has a fair chance to guess it or can be translated to something general (ie Hogwarts = magic school, so the spy wouldn't necessarily have to be familiar with Harry Potter, for example).

Yeah that answered it. Looks like not a general themed game (did have a couple of those before, a)

Today I finalized the location for this game and made the roles for it! The more this game is coming together, the more excited I am to host it.

I'll keep refining the game until we're ready to start, though I'm not sure my having the time to get creative with it will be a good or bad thing.

Yes! We have 7 players joining, so this game will definitely start no later than January 11th (this Saturday!). In the meantime, I'll hold the game open in case a few more would like to join.
