The Zombie Apocalypse, Vanquished Again
As the last victims of the zombie virus were cured, the people of Wintreath took stock of where they stood in this new, post Z-Day world. And they found they had emerged in a very different place: as one of the few regions to have eliminated the zombie threat, cured most of its people, and as a result suddenly was one of the largest and most prominent regions in NationStates. United in hope, Wintreath stands ready to shape the world with its newfound prominence as one of the most populous regions left...

At least that's how it would be if Z-Day had any permanent effect.

As it is, we did emerge from the event zombie-free, placing 5th on the Most Survivors + No Zombies and 9th on the Most Survivors, not only carrying on our long tradition as a fierce bastion for humanity when the zombies rise up, but making it's best showing ever in the process! More than any other event, Z-Day is won or lost on the organization and teamwork of the people in each region, and once again we've proven that when united, Wintreath always punches above its weight.

This victory is ours together! Thank you to everybody who made it possible, and I'm already looking forward to seeing how we do next year!
