Section I: Basic Information

1) Please introduce yourself to us! What led you here, what are your interests, and what are your hopes as a Citizen of our community? Feel free to include anything else you'd like us to know.

I am Ilya, a cat on the Internet that makes things with computers sometimes! I have my own website.

I was brought here while figuring out a region where Sternlight should reside. Wanted to pick something cozy, with not too many nations and not too many noise around it. Thought this place looks like the one! Also fun to see you have your own forum - not a regular sight on the Internet nowadays. It's pretty awesome!

I don't really expect to be very chatty, but it sounds like a fun idea to hang out a bit. You also seem to have your own Minecraft server, which also sounds fun! Maybe I'll go play there sometimes.

3) How did you discover Wintreath?

I randomly listed through the NationStates region list, found this one, and decided I'll reside here!

P.S. I am a bit worried that there is only one single section that says "basic information". This IS the only section. I hope I didn't accidentally cut out some sort of "advanced information" section...

Like I mentioned on Discord (I don't know if you saw it), I think it's really cool that you have your own website. I've mentioned on Discord before that I think the internet would be better if we went back to personal websites instead of relying on social media...which I have numerous problems with and use as little as possible. In any case, I hope you like being part of our community!

Also, don't worry about other sections...we used to have a section II for people to show what parts of Wintreath they wanted to be a part of, but we're a lot more casual these days. Guess I forgot to take out the Section I part lol.

Two new things now that you're a Citizen:

1) You should be able to see the #governance channel on Discord. This is where we discuss community governance, both IC and OOC.

2) You can now join hangouts, which are private Discord channels for portions of our community so they can freely talk about things. We currently have hangouts for the LGBTQ+ and furry communities...if you're involved in either and would like to join, just DM or ping a Discord op (currently myself, Michi, or Wuufu) and let us know.
