I didn't think this quite fit in the Wintermoot Studies topic, but I wanted to share this video about a woman (the aforementioned Acacia Johnson) who specializes in photography in the polar regions. There's so many beautiful pictures of winter landscapes, animals like penguins and bears, and the lifestyles of the people who live there. But beyond that it was impressive how she uses photography to tell a story, whether it's of the women who live and work in Antarctica (after being surprised that some people still believe only men did that) or of the bears that would be impacted by an open-pit copper mine.

It's worth the watch just for the pictures, but hearing about how she came to take up photography in such inhospitable regions and the opportunities it led to was also fascinating.
