This graph tells a story. It was not a typical Z-Day in Wintreath:
From the beginning we were underpowered, speaking to the continuing struggles we have to get people involved in events. Unlike any other year, try as we might we could not contain the hordes of zombies, only slow down their growth. Then as the those few who had been fighting had to leave for the night, zombie hordes went unchecked for hours, culminating in most of the region becoming zombified and the death toll rising to levels never before seen in Wintreath. At the end of the night, there were fewer than 100 billion survivors in the entire region. But it turns out we had done just enough to hold out...death was everywhere, but most of the region was still alive in some form. The following morning, we rallied what forces were left, finally contained the zombies with higher-level cure missiles, and managed to cure all the remaining survivors by the evening.
We finished the event ranked 16th for Most Survivors (compared to 11th last year) and 11th for Most Survivors + No Zombies. It was simultaneously our worst showing as a region and our hardest-fought victory.I noticed a few specific people who pitched in:

@Colberius X in a rare appearance! I'm sure there were others too, and I thank everyone that took part in eking out the victory that we did. However, there is one person who this victory would not have been possible without: our new Citizen
@Yes (better known as Life of Strife on Discord)! He sacrificed time and sleep to keep things going that first night, staying awake long after even I had gone to bed, then returning the next day to help clean up. If it had not been for his help, we could not have held out. If there were a MVP for this event, it would definitely be him! Thank you for all the hard work you put into this victory...I'm glad you joined Wintreath when you did!
This event showed what we can do if just a handful of people carry through with determination and grit. Let's celebrate our hard-fought victory!
