Welcome to Spyfall Squads! I'm your host, Wintermoot, and I'm going to give you some information you wouldn't have in most spyfall games. The spy in this game is...everyone. Even you. Yes, you! Ok, maybe that's not terribly helpful, because you still have to guess the location of the other squad or figure out who they are and eliminate them.

How the Game Works

Questioning
For most of the game, you'll be piecing together the location of each player by asking them questions about their location. When it's your turn, you'll mention the player you want to question along with the question you want to ask. You may not directly ask a player their role or location.

For example: @Wintermoot, what are you wearing at this location?

When answering, try to give enough information to let your squad know you're one of them, but not so much that you give clues to the other squad. This can be a very fine line, which is what makes the game so challenging. Answers should be plausible for your role and location. If you're a lifeguard at the beach, don't say you're bundled up in winter clothes. You also may not reveal your own squad, location, or role until the game is over.

The person who answers will then ask a question to another player besides the one that asked them the question.

Starting a Vote to Eliminate a Player
To start a vote to eliminate someone, simply announce who you want to vote off and why. Questioning will be paused, and all players can freely chat with each other until a majority has voted for or against eliminating the player. If the player is eliminated, their squad will be revealed.

Guessing the Other Squad's Location
You can guess the other squad's location simply by doing so at any time during questioning. Once a player has made a guess, the game will pause until I reply that the guess is correct or incorrect. If the guess is correct, your squad wins the game. However, if it's incorrect you will be eliminated from the game and the game will continue.

Inactivity
If it's your turn to answer a question and you haven't replied after 24 hours, I will remind you over Discord DM. If you still haven't replied after 48 hours, you will be eliminated from the game and the last player will choose someone else to question.

Not particularly, given these how little I'm paid to deal with asshats and creeps all day long.

I don't get paid at all for this, though being here does have its benefits.

Of course, this place has its own drinks. Don’t be surprised if it’s sub-par, i’ve seen how nasty the machines can get.

@Drexyl Nox How long would someone be here? Probably longer than your knowledge of Waffle House, but i’m not paid all that well to care.
