  • Well, Eastern New England has spoken. They have yet to cast a vote and likely won't be able to before night falls, but at least they have been present. I shall rescind my vote for Eastern New England and cast anew. My new vote shall be for Vote: A Kindle Of Kittens, as this seems to be the popular choice at the moment.

    • To sit back hoping that someday, some way, someone will make things right is to go on feeding the crocodile, hoping he will eat you last - but eat you he will.

  • And that's all she wrote for Day 1!

At the end of the day, those who weren't huddled in their beds came to the cozy kitchen to drink hot apple cider and discuss who the murderous werewolf could be. By the end of the discussion, @A Kindle Of Kittens got the most votes, so the mob went to his guestroom and...made sure he couldn't hurt anybody ever again.

Shame though, for he was fan/villager. Perhaps somebody framed him? Or maybe the group just got it wrong.

Oh well, it's not like he showed up to defend himself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It is now Night. Those of you with things to do tonight, let me know what it is. The Night phase will last for 24 hours, until 8PM Eastern time tomorrow (1/9).

    @Eastern New England, @Michi, @Leesbra, @TGN, @Wiral, @Aragonn, @Rewan Demontay

  • Round 2 Day
The next morning, everybody rouses from their bedrooms and comes together in the kitchen for some coffee and light breakfast. And I do mean everybody...to the seemingly great relief of all, nobody died during the night phase. This gives everybody another opportunity to make the right decision...except for the recently departed Kindle of Kittens, may his poor soul rest in peace.

This phase will end on Thursday, January 12th at 9PM, or a little over 48 hours from this post.

Also a reminder to @Eastern New England, @Wiral, and @Rewan Demontay: You MUST vote this round or you'll be eliminated at the end of the phase.

  • That's an interesting development. Did the wolves not target anyone? Or was their target defended? I suppose we'll find out in time.

Well, either way that means we have 1 more day or night to figure out who is the werewolf.

  • How many wolves do we have? But yes, this should give us more time.

One thing I'd be interested in to know is why TGN voted Rewan. Perhaps he could enlighten us.

Addendum: Also all 3 of Leesbra's posts seem to quote Aragonn and I don't know whether it's coincidental because Aragonn is posting a lot or whether it's indicative of something ???

Yeah, TGN voting for someone that doesn’t seem like a candidate for a werewolf right now is somewhat suspicious… maybe we should keep an eye on him?

oh my god i never knew that lmao. I’m used to using quote replies because of how Discord formats it, so I just have been doing that. Never realized how many went to him.

  • We have three people who will be eliminated this round if they do not cast a vote. If I was a wolf, I would be casting votes to avoid getting slapped with the knockout rule. The only one terribly active other than myself is Leesbra.

  • But wouldn’t we citizens also want to vote to avoid the same knockout rule, because if we don’t, that means less people left to stop the werewolf or werewolves from winning? You’re using an argument that can be redirected back to you, and it’s contradictory to any that you had last round. A plan that doesn’t have much regard as to who could be affected, and even state yourself that you are also a target of it. Wouldn’t carelessness for others be something that a werewolf has? And think about it, if you wipe the most talkative people of the game out, then that means a few bad events could secure our doom. I feel like you’re haphazardly planning votes that people will agree upon and carry out, for you to use previous followers against you because you can use their following as an additional reason. And a man without others to trust him is one that people will suspect of doing bad things. I will not take direct action against you, since that would be disrespectful to do on the first accusation and would just be pitiful, but know that I have eyes on you and your plans. Your plans made sense in the first day and I agreed with them, since I saw no flaws or hidden meanings behind it, but now that they’ve been voted out as a commoner and you’re plotting against me, i’m now contemplating if your voting against them was just a scheme to drag others down. In a game of trust and accusations, bad planning and follower accusing is a surefire way to get suspected of being the bad guy. And your words against me have made me lose trust within you and your plots, knowing they could be a fraud to drag innocent men and women like me down for your own personal gain. And though this message is personalized towards you, Aragonn, I am not saying you are the only one that could be a werewolf, because anyone here could be. With that said, and as a repeat of what I said before, your words of suspicion against me, a follower of your previous vote, has made me lose trust in you and has me questioning if you are even fully human. I now bid you a goodbye, and if I were to go missing by the next dawn, a farewell.

We have three people who will be eliminated this round if they do not cast a vote. If I was a wolf, I would be casting votes to avoid getting slapped with the knockout rule. The only one terribly active other than myself is Leesbra.
Successive in convincing others or not, I atleast want this message to make you realize that your logic here is less than sensible, and that I am trying to help us find the werewolf, or werewolves, among us. Not to shamefully bring our party and our town to its knees.

  • Apologies for not posting much, work has been a bit busier despite New Years being over, to the point that it's surprisingly trickled into my days off a bit.

Anyways, my thoughts in mildly abridged form:

    >Aragonn's decision to hop off of the vote for ENE and lem Leesbra's vote on A Kindle of Kittens does concern me a bit.  While it's completely in character since I recall Ara being an anti no-kill phase type of player, his casual mention of Leesbra when it really wasn't even warranted could be an early attempt to distance himself from a fellow wolf (or pretend to and set up a villager to take the fall) by casually throwing out their name as a potential person to watch...especially since this is right after ENE also just happened to notice that Leesbra's posts were all quoting him...though this I'm willing to believe Leesbra's take on for now.

    >TGN not posting much also concerns me.  This is someone who has played multiple games and has even hosted one, and was usually really active in past games and much more helpful than just saying "Gorsh" and random D1 vote with no context.  Right now it's concerning because it's exactly something someone would do as a power player to avoid suspicions...although it's absolutely a question of whether it'd be a good power player or a wolf attempting to pretend to be such, which TGN is absolutely capable of pulling off.

    >The fact that there was no night kill likewise concerns me.  This could mean that we have quiet players (which we'll possibly found out this next round since Wiral hasn't posted in six days), it could be indecisive wolves that missed the deadline (which depending on who they are, it's pretty unlikely), or it's an experienced player or two trying to early push suspicions on our newer players by pushing it being that previous reason of them not knowing what to do.

    >Going back to Leesbra, that bit on the end is really weird to me.  It comes off to me as almost monumentally derpy to where I almost want to give him the derp clear based on that whole mess of a paragraph alone, but it also makes me recall games where the new person ended up being a bad guy that was pushed to lean in on that derpy newbie vibe by their teammates, so I'm not entirely ruling him out.

Overall I'm a bit unsure of how I want to run in this phase since there's some likely candidates (and everyone else has either been a blip or generally okay vibes so far), but I also want to see more how this phase develops before I actually outright point a finger and accuse someone.

That being said, since I don't know if I'll be on in time for the phase end and I do need to vote, I'll just keep up with my current trend and hopefully pop on before phase end.

    Vote: Michi

That was a very aggressive defense. You know what else is aggressive? A werewolf. Ha, got 'em!
In all seriousness though, don't get your whiskers in a twist. You're not going to get any hard evidence of someone being a werewolf. What you get are gut instincts and intuition. Everything is circumstantial. Yes, you did follow my line of reasoning in the first day. Who wouldn't? It's a strategy developed by werewolf veterans over the course of many, many games to allow Town to survive just a bit longer and have a better chance at winning the game. However, you did not vote for the same person as me. You voted for someone else, perhaps as a way to allow RNGesus to be the deciding factor in that lynch. Regardless, I've locked my sights onto you now. I will Vote: Leesbra. No hard feelings, bud.
