  • Rules of the RP
OOC-So that everyone is on the same page, I'm gonna explain the rules quickly.

1: No magic or technology they didnt have at the time (although this can be altered a tiny bit)
    2: Have fun
by that I mean you can go for anything, as long as its realistically possible in the medival age. If you want a samurai nation even when everyone else could be knights, go for it. If you want a character to use the same 10ft sword that Gut's uses, go for it. If you want them to use a semi-auto assault rifle, thats where the line is drawn. No need to be ultra realistic.

3: Max of 2 huge cities at the start, just so that someone can actually be toppled

With that out of the way, rp away and feel free to ask me questions about it (preferably on discord, name is Sir Waggleton#1124)

Like a plague, famine and drought has spread to every kingdom as far as the eyes can see. Peasants and entire villages starving to death, as well as tarnishing the taxes from the villages. Entire cities slowly breaking down into madness and protest, as well as rumors that other nations are hogging food to themselves, the nations start to look at each other and blame each other for the famine. As blame shifts, tensions start to rise.

Hidlar, Capitol City of the Krason Order

"My lord, we've lost 4 villages this week to this famine this week, the peasants are growing mad. We must do something." The messenger said loudly to the old, mad king, Erik Krason III. He's alive by a maricle, growing weak and barely able to stand with a long but thin grey beard and stained red kings robes. "I know. . . send search parties. . . find out who. . who has cursed us. . grab me more wine." He whispered quietly, slowly, and softly to the messenger while holding his golden chalice out, waiting for it to be poured. The order is given to deal with raiders and bandits as well as to spy on other kingdoms in hopes of finding out if they have any food.

A massager runs into the throne room.
"Emperor, the people are starving" he pants "We need more food”
The emperor, Sasha looks down at him “Yes but we don’t have any. Our potatoes aren’t growing, it hasn’t rained for weeks. We have to ration food further.”
“yes miss” the messenger starts to leave to give out the message to others.
“On the bright side,” says Sasha “our enemies are in the same position as us”
The messenger leaves. Sasha turns to her council
“Perhaps we could make an alliance with some other nations. We could share around resources and hopefully get through this as a team. Send the offer to the other nations”

  • Inside the heart of the City-State of Kiddia, the counsel sits at an impasse.
“I know that we’re starving, I’m just saying, what’s stopping us from just invading Waffalya and Arengee? Surely our Kiddian brothers have food.”
“No, no, a decision that big would require a city-wide vote. By the time those results get back, it might be too late.”
“Plus, it’ll look like a sign of desperation. Not good for reelection prospects.”
“Why don’t we just ask them to share?”
“Well, the Arengeans for one are unpredictable. For all we know, they might try and burn down their own city. As for the Waffalyans, I don’t think their in any more of a position to share than we are.

  • In the capital city of hainan, in the capital city of haikou.

The emergency council meeting starts with the chancellor asking the emperor, "Your Imperial Majesty, a drought has affected the nation's farmlands, Most of the farmers have kept the little food they had for themselves and food prices are now skyrocketing. However thats not all, the food shortage has caused famine obviously and plagues. We need to act before it goes out of control"

The emperor Biden I despite his astonishing feat of reaching the 79 years and still be healthy(ooc: very different from the real one ;)) has kept all his wisdom and power. Biden immediatly says "Hear my imperial decree, The imperial granary is to be open for citizens, establish a maximum portion for each citizen, start an immediat investigation on what caused the drought and come up with ways of fighting it, stablish tent hospitals and seize mansions to house the sick, i want every imperial physician to assist in dealing with the plagues, and finally, moiblize the military, this crisis will surely invoke inside and outside enemies that wish to put my mandate of heaven in question!"

The few guards look confusedly at eachother and one runs in the tall walls of the structure, the castle walls extended twice the height of any of the buildings surrounding it and the living quarters went even further into the sky. The small city was quiet as everyone huddled inside for the little warmth they had in the north. Finally the messenger came back, asking Alkir to come in. The other guards trail behind to watch Alkir.

They escort him to the throne room, an elaborate purple rug with gold stitching trails into the stone room, pillars lined the rug leading up to Gravis’ Throne, where he sat, jumping up to question Alkir. “What is a southman doing on my land? You better have a good reason to be here, otherwise…” He lifts his axe up to Alkir’s throat. “you will not be going home”

  • Norðburg, 1312

Eagles are flying across Norðburg as King Magnus Bloðæx (Modern Icebergian: Magnus Blodax) of Icebergia observes the stars in the gorgeous night sky. After he finishes his observation, he rides back with his chariot. When suddenly he observes withered rice crops. He is a conqueror, seeing this. He organises a plan to invade the rich and fertile Südland with General Albert Krigman.

After the Crossing of Middelbergen, Icebergia quickly expands to the South of Septentritonal Peninsula. King Magnus Bloðæx rides with his horse quickly. Excited, he rushes to the farmlands. But he only sees withering crops. He knows that something isn’t right. While he is in Südland. 13 Villages in the North starved to death. Upset villagers start to raid Norðburg, the capitol city of Icebergia. After hearing that Norðburg is raided. He runs back to Norðburg with his starving army.

During the Return, he gives all the food, rice and meat, to the soldiers so that they can survive while he eats a few portions of chicken and rice everyday. After one month, they finally returned to Norðburg. The Villagers tried to steal their food. But they entered the palace after giving the villagers remaining rice, mutton, and fish. Magnus Bloðæx knows that something is wrong, very wrong.
