Time: Round 9 Day

Whelp I barely survived the day,  I'd like a chance to clear my name and also think we need to critically look at several people.

I dont know Dolby very well but the last time I am aware of them playing like this, they were a bad guy so Im just shooting from the hip here.

I don't see anything that really stands out yet, either. But just so it's not between Abbi and No Lynch, I'll Vote: Kiddian.

Is it because they didn't wagon?

What's to say about my vote? I'm not terribly familiar with most of the players. I know a couple well enough, but not most of everyone, which makes it harder to get a vibe on people as I have less reference points. One of the few reference points I do have is that the last time (and the only time) I played against Dolby, he played exactly like this, very present and attempting to influence the direction of the conversation in a very present way. It may be how he typically plays in general, I'm not sure, but its one of the few reads I have. The other being that I have seen you play a fair amount of Werewolf before, as a wolf and a townie. The current vibe I'm getting from you is more townie, you're not playing like I remember you typically playing a wolf, which is why I did not want to vote for you. You typically play a tad more....reserved as a wolf. Still present, still trying to get reads on people, but a tad more reserved in your reads on people. I'm figuring you're a townie. But then again, like I said, I have few vibes to go off of right now, the most predominant being I'm a little sussed out by Dolby and I'm not getting a wolf vibe from you, which is why I voted the way I did.

Aren throwing an off vote into a non existent wagon on a light meta read when wagons need solving is also scummy but I suppose this could be due to differences in Werewolf like ideology. however one could make the case that this post

Imo, tying a 3 way wagon on day 1 doesn’t seem that scummy to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Welp, I missed the vote system fix and then end of day. Gonna be honest I probably would've voted for like Marzipan or Arenado as they're more veteran and didn't have a vote yet as is my plan on most day 1s (unless something more blatant comes out so early - and I didn't feel that about any of the votes this round). 

Wait, so Wintermoot voted Kiddian to make a 3way tie between Neon/No lynch/Kiddian, and then Neon moved her vote off Kiddian onto Wintermoot, making it back to a 2way tie between her and no lynch?

Why would you do that, Neon? That just bumped up your chances of being lynched from 33% to 50%. And if you wanted anything but no lynch to win, why not leave your vote on Kiddian or at least move to the only other person with a vote, Dolby? Making the vote a 2way tie just bumped up the chances for a no lynch to win. And you're now sussing Arenado for throwing an off vote onto a nonexistent wagon when you did the exact same thing after him.

That just seemed like a really weird and obvious play to make so early in the game. I wouldn't be surprised if Neon and Wintermoot are wolf/wolf, especially with how we saw Neon throw Corbin under the bus last game as wolves. But with how blatantly suspicious that was, I do hesitate that I find it a little unlikely that Neon is wolf two games in a row, though, but it does happen from time to time.

It's always scummier to rand a kill than to vote the wagon you think is the better choice no matter what they flip.

End of day shouldn't be left to a coin flip ever.

But without my flip we now go into day 2 with no flip info, we can make judgements off votes but without the flip we are just on day 1 again. This is why no lynch is always bad. Had I flipped you could have used that flip to read into everyone from Moot to Aren to Dolby. 

My pull off onto Moot is purely because I believe Moot is wolf and will vote there tomorrow. W!Moot would never bus new player kiddian day 1 that's more my style so I suspected the jump on was to lynch a towny. 

I should have voted no Lynch to self pres but I have shifted views and would rather die myself than rand into a no Lynch...

Do you have a better way of selecting someone on Day 1?

I will admit I was caught a little off-guard because I didn't know we were so close to the end of the day, but from where I stood when I voted, the likely outcome was that you would be voted off or there would be no lynch. I've come to believe that a first-day No Lynch doesn't help us, because it gives us less information to work on for the rest of the game than we'd otherwise have. So my options were to vote for you and make that outcome more likely, vote for a random person to look inconspicuous, vote No Lynch, or vote for the only other person with a vote so there's another option. It's nothing personal against Kiddian, he was just the only other person with a vote at that point in the game, and I don't know that he's a wolf anymore than I know that you are.

The most suspicious thing in that round was your behaviour in response to my vote. On the surface, it was illogical and self-sabotaging. Based on Gerrick's response, now I'm wondering if you're trying to raise suspicions that we're a wolf team so if I'm voted off and revealed as a villager it'll reflect well on you.

Yes select one of the two options that were in play instead of creating a new option. Especially a new option that existed because of a joke made by me day 1. As much as ***I*** hate it no Lynch was an option and you really could've voted that instead if you didn't want me lynched and didn't have a read. 

Any tied wagon is scummy but ***YOU*** caused that tie therefore you are scummy.

None of this makes sense. I moved my vote to protect a lynch candidate who was being wagoned for no reason?
