"The gun had to have been suppressed for this assassination to go unheard from inside. Either that or he was killed somewhere else, most likely outside, than dragged here. For now, no one jump to conclusions and stay in a group, leave no chances for the murderer to shoot us." he says, he than looks at Asmondies but doesn't know his name "And you, keep that potion in hand. We might need it later." 

The hall is silenced by a distant boom
“Don’t worry, it’s probably just a mishap with the fireworks.” Said the butler, trying to maintain his calm and collected composure. However, the radio chatter of the guards walkie-talkies said otherwise. One such guard whispered in the Kings ear. Ferrand turns toward the Baron, infuriated.
“I declared peace and let you into my castle as a sign of goodwill, and this is how you repay me?!”
“I..I swear, I have no idea what happened!”
“You better not. If something else happens, you’ll see what my bad side is like.”
Alarms blare as the blast doors close. A security guard hustles to the front of the room.
“Everyone stay calm. Do not go outside. This will all be over soon.”

"Yes, we gain our magic from our fae blood. My own great-grandmother was a fairy. We have a large population that live on our biggest island, I would offer to show some but I did not bring any runestones with me. I'm afraid we are not as technologically advanced in the form of cybernetics though. It is something we are working to rectify through education and technological grants but the work is slow." As Princess Asteria talks Asmonidies gives Tarov glares over her shoulder ensuring he does not get to familiar with the princess.

"We're very skill with both biological and technological modification to a body." Tarov says

"I think we could work a deal out." he said "We'd like to study your nation and it's magical properties. We could offer some of out technological prowess in return. We show interest in nations like yours. We can talk about this after the party of course, as this might not be the best place to talk about a offer like this."

"We could talk later over tea perhaps. Sharing our magic with the world is one of the foundations of our beliefs, you may not be able to use it without fae blood though." Just as Princess Asteria finishes talking the loud boom goes off. Asmonidies immediately grabs her wrist pulling her behind him, she seems to disappear completely into his shadow. The man isn't just her servent but also her body guard.

"No reason to be afraid, it's probably nothing serious." he says, he has no idea where she went "We can talk about this later I assume." he walks away

“Apparently, one of the guards got sniped. I overheard one of the guards talking about it.” Says a man in his young thirties who looks like he’s trying to grow a mustache. “I don’t believe we’ve met. I’m Dernald, but you can call me Dern.” He rubs a bandage on his left wrist.

"Sniped? interesting, also nice to meet you dern, i am severina, sorry for the rudeness, but did you get hurt on your left wrist? if you want i can heal that" says severina looking with worry.

“Oh, this? A stupid new waiter dropped a thing of kitchen knives, and one cut my wrist. As for healing it, that’ll not be necessary. It’s almost fully healed. And besides, it makes me look tough, no?”

He hears the news and is unphased by it but slightly annoyed because it interrupted a moment that could build relations between them and Svipjoth, "Ah, name's Tarov Tormaigh, Dashikin Representative. Do we have the assassin on camera?" he asks as if this is a daily event

“No, unfortunately we don’t. Probably hiding off the premises. In a bush I imag-“
“Oh god!” A terrified, startled scream comes from the bathroom. Inside, the Duke of Kannassan stands, shocked, by a dead Baron
Lansson, a bullet hole between his eyes, slumped against a toilet.
“I..I found him like this, I swear! I saw his legs from under the door, and when I came back awhile later, he hadn’t moved. So I started to get worried and…”

Ariah bursts in. "Alright, another one?" asks an irritated Ariah. "This is rich. I think if another murder happens, we should interrogate the staff. What say you, Kannassan? You found the body, no?"

“I would never! I mean, we weren’t exactly close, but I’d never kill a man!”

He walks over to the man, cup in hand and pocket knife concealed. “Now please, you have the eyes of a killer. Are you a soldier, Dern? Its Dern, right?”

“Yes, my name is Dern, and yes, I technically was a soldier. See, Likaeths have to serve at least a year of military service after university. Unfortunately, I didn’t really see any action. As for killing, well, all that I kill are deer, rabbits, and fish, I’m afraid. You are a most interesting man. What did you say your name was?”

“I would never! I mean, we weren’t exactly close, but I’d never kill a man!”

He walks over to the man, cup in hand and pocket knife concealed. “Now please, you have the eyes of a killer. Are you a soldier, Dern? Its Dern, right?”

After insuring three is no shooting in the hall Asmonidies leaves the Princess along one wall before making his way over to the small crowd who found the dead body. Asmonidies steps forward grabbing the wrist of the person with the pocket knife. "No need to stab anyone. I have a solution." He pulls out a vial of blue liquid. "Truth potion, I only have enough for one person though, and there is a 50% chance of death for the drinker if they have no magic."

OOC: I had the pocket knife hidden, idk if anyone saw it though.

IC: Menendez backs away from the man with the potion. “Listen, I’m not entirely sure how you knew that, but pleasedon’t touch me again.” He them turns to Dern. “I knew you were a killer, although it was a few animals you never know when someone will get the urge to kill again. I would know very well, and I am Raul P. Menendez.”

OOC: I had the pocket knife hidden, idk if anyone saw it though.

IC: Menendez backs away from the man with the potion. “Listen, I’m not entirely sure how you knew that, but please don’t touch me again.” He them turns to Dern. “I knew you were a killer, although it was a few animals you never know when someone will get the urge to kill again. I would know very well, and I am Raul P. Menendez.”

"Your decisions are rash, and foolish. Calm yourself down. Jumping to conclusions won't do anything but kill more innocents." he says, he than looks at Dern "could you explain your wrist injury more, your story of a waiter dropping a knife on it seems fishy. Where were you when this injury happened?"

Also couldn’t you just use magic? I assume you have a truth spell, we don’t personally have it but we have torture magic that is magnificent at taking information from other people, few people can resist it.” She then looks at dern “ oh dear, I assumed you had something to hide but since it didn’t look like anything important I let it go, but now sadly I would want you to explain it better please  dern”

As for truth spells, they are harder to do and I do not have the necessary supplies on me to perform the spell. The princess would have to power the spell anyway, I only have enough magic to perform a few spells without exhausting myself. Please call me Asmonidies as I didn't introduce myself earlier." Asmonidies turns his gaze to dern looking at his wrist. He then looks at the dead body. "Are there any defensive wounds on the body? If not I have my doubts about this young man being the killer."

An official-looking security guard speaks up from the front of the bathroom. “May I have your attention! Our theory is that the Baron was washing his hands when he was alerted to the presence of the killer, who promptly shot him. Then, the killer dragged him into the stall, where the duke found him. We also believe the killer is the same person who shot the guard, and is currently in the building, waiting to strike. So, we are doing a complete sweep of the castle now.”

“Ok, well, I was walking down the hall from the kitchen a few days ago, and one of the staff was carrying a bin of knives to the kitchen. He then tripped on his own feet—he is an idiot, after all—and the knives flew everywhere. One of them clipped my wrist, another cut the bottom of my pants.”

“Ok, well, I was walking down the hall from the kitchen a few days ago, and one of the staff was carrying a bin of knives to the kitchen. He then tripped on his own feet—he is an idiot, after all—and the knives flew everywhere. One of them clipped my wrist, another cut the bottom of my pants.”

He turns to Dern "This sounds like you jumped through a window more than getting cut by a knife. Your story doesn't sound true. May I see the wound?."

He’s not alone, though. Within 10 minutes, 24 people fall, dead or close to it.

As the lights fluttered out and Beinlaus stood still, he heard the progressively loudening screams and the fall of bodies, before feeling dizzy and blurry himself. Knowing it was fruitless to wander or fight it, he sat still, unsheathing his blade and waiting to see if he was a target.

He soon heard footsteps approaching him. With a quick wrist flick, he had hit whoever approached them with a light cut before succumbing to this sudden sickness and blacking out.

severina looks around and laughs slightly when only 1 light is off on top of a guy and the guy is confused trying to fight nothing, anyways she starts checking the vitals of the people that are down “dead, who would do such a thing?” She then looks up and tells “ everyone who is alive get together, to normal humans remove a piece of clothing and put it over your mouth, might work to keep you alive longer, together we are stronger”

Tarov stay's standing. He grabs a scalple from his doctor bag under his robes for self defense. He see's Severina and a few others is standing "where's the guards?" he says, now in a slight panic. He see's Beinlaus's sword from his body and picks it up, switching out his knife for it. He pick's Silver's limp body up by the nape of his neck. "Huh, I though Dashiki never went through with these." he drops Silver back on the ground "He's dead. We must escape right away."
