The last time I put this out we were lucky enough to get Silv, so I'm trying it again.
Ready to make your mark as a leader in the world of Wintreath? We’re looking for a friendly face to serve as Jarl of Foreign Affairs. As you may know, openings for Jarl-level positions are few and far between, so this is a rare chance to join the senior leadership of Wintreath while taking charge of one of our main focuses as a community.
What does a Jarl of Foreign Affairs do, you ask?
Primary Duties
The Jarl manages The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which works to strengthen our relationships with other communities so they learn about who we are as a community, the great people that are in it, and the awesome things that we do. Specifically, the Jarl manages embassies and consulates in other regions, processes ambassador and embassy applications from other communities, and serves as a first point of contact for foreign officials on matters that need a higher-up. The Jarl also directs our general foreign policy in consultation with the Monarch.
Additional Duties
As part of the Riksraad, the Jarl contributes to discussions in the body and takes a role in the day-to-day governance of Wintreath. The Jarl also serves on the Joint Moderation Group, which weighs in on OOC policies and situations, especially in areas that involve prominent members or situations where there is no former precedent.
What We Need
I’m looking for a Citizen who is steeped in the principles and ideals of the Wintreath community and understands how they relate to our foreign affairs. As you may know, this can sometimes be a stressful position, so the ability to debate and communicate clearly in stressful situations without losing your cool is a plus. Additionally, you should be 18 or over, which is required for all positions that weigh in on OOC matters. Finally, familiarity with NationStates foreign affairs and organizations is a plus, but not required.

Great! Please reach out to me so we can discuss the details and together decide if this is the right position for you. I look forward to hearing from you!
