In this topic, nominate your favourite LGBTQ+ characters for our month-long contest to see who our community's favourite character is!

Nominations will be open until June 15th and then we will vote for the absolute favourite until June 30th, at which point the winner will be announced!

I feel like a lot of gay and bisexual men in media are made to be stereotypes and caricatures for the sake of entertainment and aren’t really allowed to deviate from that and develop unique personalities beyond that.

I appreciate Raymond Holt for not only falling outside of that but occasionally poking fun at that. He and his husband are devoted, stoic, and dryly humored but they feel so genuine and lovely.

Darryl Whitefeather I appreciate because I feel like bisexual characters aren’t usually given the space to explore their sexuality and he gets to explore his (and he doesn’t always get it right, which is realistic!). And despite the fact he is a side character, they give him the floor to have this journey.

To clarify, you can nominate as many people as you'd like.

Danny the Street! He's a sentient, transgender male street in the DC universe who is able to place himself anywhere around the world. Danny lets the people tossed out by society have a place to rest. He entertains them with drag shows and various shops. Danny cross-dresses and enjoys expressing himself by putting pink, frilly awnings or curtains on gun stores and the like. Because I want to make a good case for Danny, whose residents call themselves Dannizens, I cite the following videos from the Doom Patrol TV show:

I love his dynamic with Mr. Burn’s, and I love the episodes that focus on him.
