Well I don't know why I came here tonight

I've got the feeling that something ain't right

The music cuts out as the feed cuts back from commercials. The host walks on stage to the mic. As he does so, someone slowly walks into the hall, walks up to one of the nominees and leads them away. A suspiciously similar substitute walks in and takes their place.


“Hello once again, everyone! It's not time for the next award category, and this one is a doozy if I don’t say so myself, Best Sacrificial Lamb!”


A nervous round of applause breaks out. A short video plays behind the host showing the award and the nominees.


“And the nominees for Best Sacrificial Lamb are,”

“Oooo, looks like we have a clear winner! Well, after counting all the votes from our high tech VOTES system, and the only vote that matters, we can announce that the winner is….”


The camera cuts to all the nominees with nervous looks on their faces.


“...none other than GERRICK!”


The camera focuses on Gerrick, who looks disappointed. The other nominees look confused. Gerrick dejectedly walk on stage to receive their award, a small golden statue of a lamb.


“Let's have a round of applause for Harold Finch from Person Of Interest, our Town Lookout for this event! What a fantastic performance they gave, right, everyone?”


Applause breaks out as they walk off the stage to the green room to enjoy the after party early.


“Don’t touch that dial now, we’re just getting started! And I hope you’ve been paying attention, all sorts of information may be of use tonight. Now, stay tuned for our next award after a word from our sponsors.”


Music begins playing as the remaining nominees begin eating cookies. The feed cuts out and glitches, playing back a bit of what the host said, but slower, before it corrects itself.

Don’t touch that dial now, we’re just getting started.

Alternatively KoD is unlynchable.

Good morning and hello! Spicy spicy. If I had to take a guess I'd say the day's results were some sort of scum ability, the votes stacked on Gerrick rather quickly, I don't see why a town mayor would see the need to use their power in that situation. Someone wanted to be quite certain Gerrick was dead, and given his role that someone is probably evil.

I was thinking Neon could be pocketing KoD, especially with that switch onto him at EoD, but if the vote stack is a scumsided ability, that just further pairs Neon and KoD.

The thing that would determine mayor vs scum vote stack would be when those votes were placed. It's possible those votes were placed earlier in the day by town who was convinced Gerrick was bad news who was then not here for EoD, in which case, KoD is most likely town.

Depending on how things play out tonight, if a mayor exists, they should probably out next day phase.

Yeah, I unfortunately knew I wouldn't make it on in time for a vote switch since EoD (which is 7AM for me) is when I'm still asleep.  Really bummed it wasn't the result I was hoping for in terms of Gerrick's alignment, but the silver lining is that it at least gives out some useful info for the next day phase.  I look forward to hopefully grilling some folks in the next phase.

*shrugs* I'm going to continue forward with the belief KoD just can't be lynched and a KoD majority will always lead to the second wagon being the lynch. But y'all do you. 

Usually mayor vote is displayed in the vote count. 

There's also the sudden possibility that despite being displayed by vote switch either didn't count or my vote itself didn't count... that seems less likely but I do have reasons for suggesting this as a possibility. 

What was that?

Due to the wording of the flavor post, someone's role is more like a Kingmaker than a mayor role. That is, their vote is the only one that matters.

That being said, no, I am not unlynchable, nor does the lynch pass on to the second wagon if I am the first.

With Gerrick having flipped town, we are more likely than not looking at a couple scum in the lower end of the activity pool as opposed to the higher end. I stand by my assessment that with Gerrick not having flipped as scum, that lends more likely to the idea that Mele, too, is not scum strictly because they, initially, looked paired with the reasoning Mele was throwing out and Gerrick picking up on it.

And given that the higher end of posters constitutes Neon, myself, and Mele, the scum players are definitely inside those not posting as much (per how events broke down).





I don't get why Neon decided it was appropriate to switch like that to try and get me lynched as that flies in the face of her progress thus far. Like, this isn't our Champs game with votes literally flying around on a dime (with reasons backing them). Like, what were you aiming at there? A literal yeet of me because ?? reasons?
