We are more likely to achieve victory if we remove people from the race yanno. It gives us more information to judge who's left on.

I'll have to wildly disagree with this.

While it's always dangerous to have everyone here, it's more dangerous to give the scum a quicker victory by voting folks off D1 when we don't need to, and then them having the chance to kill a second person off during the night.  I'd rather them have a 0-1 kill count instead of a guaranteed 1-2 because people have itchy trigger fingers.

No, I'm all for that first one.  Considering our normal luck of voting off a useful good power D1, I'd much rather just sit back since there's no limit/rule against No lynch voting and let folks build up their material that we can scrutinize during D2.

Yeah I used to think that way too in the beginning. And many many times after that,  but as the awards shows have come and gone and I've lost time and time again I've also realized why removing the competition is better even if we remove the wrong ones. 

Not having security violently eject someone means we have essentially sat here for two days without gathering any info we can use for the following two days. It puts the ball in the hands of the bad guys and allows them to dictate the flow of the ceremony while we watch our chances slip away. Voting gives info and puts pressure onto the bad guys, it forces them to react and instead of attack and it pressures them into making decisions that could ultimately out the imposters among us and it leads to mistakes. Especially in the face of accurate reads and votes.

The dentist is a reference to Rocky Horror Picture Show, which is one of the shows I suspect is always scum because how can you pull a single character from there and not have it be Dr. Frank-N-Furter?

I'm liking Michi's list of speculation and mostly agree with it, with the exception of the RHPS I just noted above. In particular, I'm quite suspicious of how he tried to play up that a character from RHPS could be good while deemphasizing the possibility that they're scum, which leads me to the conclusion that Michi is our RHPS nominee.

Intresting take I'm especially amused by agreeing with mostly everything but voting him anyways its certainly a unique way of looking at the competition. Not that I'm necessarily opposed to pressure on this slot but more like I find the reasoning poor.

Also I don't necessarily disagree with Michi's idea in theory but I know for sure that he's wrong on at least one of those shows.

Also EoD is in 1.5 hours I hope the guests come out of the bathroom and get less lost and actually show up here.

For the record, I think TNG slot is probably either Captain Picard or Q. Both I expect to be town.

Yikes, about missed the whole first day... Does that make me fashionably late or just late? Haven't had a chance to read through everything yet but wanted to get a post in before the end of the day. 

Doctor Who may have contributed daleks rather than the Doctor, now that I think about it.

House is almost always a town doctor, just because most of the recurring cast are in the medical profession.

Oh and I guess let's vote Vote: Aersoldorf. Don't think I'll ever not vote D1. Absolutely no reason against him, just wanted to get a vote in.
