Game Over on Round 5 Day

Okay, Mel might be on to something with thr Bus Driver suggestion.

I followed Aerso last night, and it looked like nothing happened.  And if TGN is correct in that he roleblocked the Chief of Police, the idea that she brought up is becoming more likely if Aren is being truthful about having seen Glorious Bob getting a visit from Dolby.

That being said, now I'm definitely interested in hearing some more from Dolby on this.

If anyone has swapped my role with theirs I've gotten no notice of that happening, so I don't think it's true. Very glad that you watched me and saw nothing, because like I've said all along - I have no special powers at this point. I'm essentially a vanilla town. I do believe that I've gained some insight into how I can obtain my power, but I still don't know what it would be even if I get it. And I'm hesitant to attempt getting it just yet. I do want the town to win, and I hope to have more time to commit to the game in the coming days. I quit my new job last night because of several reasons, but I'm still pretty tired today and I'm going back to bed for now. I've got a lot of reading to do to catch up with the thread so hopefully before EoD I'll be able to share my thoughts on where we stand at the moment.

• Pop Star Neon - (Another I'm pretty sure of)
• Doctor ___ Grayson - (Pretty much positive I know who this is)
• ___ John ___ - This is me.

@Arenado claimed some kind of watcher but is probably an executioner, unless (wild theory) he's the Coroner who needs the Chief and Mayor to die to un-redact the autopsy reports. I need to know who he claims to have watched last night.

@TGN claims a roleblocker that gets flavor. I'll believe it for now. I need to know who you blocked N1.

@Ruguo claims some sort of survivor role. Tinfoil!Mel thinks Arsonist is more likely. I need to know who you hid behind N1 and N2.

Alright, I’m willing to drop my “Lau is the politician” galaxy brain crusade. That made too much sense to me at 2 am and if that’s fruitless beyond a role claim, ah well.

I don’t know that I buy the “town admin is just town with alternate anti-town wincons” thing yet but I’ll keep an open mind until something more comes forward. There has to be something more to this than an SK and potential Arso hunt in an 18 player game right? 

At the coroner's office a police detective slams the door open, nearly knocking it off its hinges. “Oh hello Jacob,” the coroner says without looking up from his work.

“Look Harold, I am really seriously going to need you to send me unredacted files,” Jacob clenched his fists, the anger in his voice palpable.

“I don’t work for you Jacob,” Harold said with a laugh. “Know this, I would reveal what I know if I could, I find it odd that the chief and the mayor would specifically ask me to hide certain information in my reports, but I can not risk my job.”

“HAROLD!” Jacob shouted slamming the metal table. “You are going to ruin everything. This whole investigation is at risk if I can’t get the info I need. People are in danger! More civilians are going to die.”

“I’m sorry Jacob my hands are tied,” he sighed, “please leave my office and come back when you are more calm.”

I’m still on the “there’s a janitor type” train, which is part of the reason I’m iffy on letting the town admin thing go completely (I’m not entirely opposed to Mel’s theory on this either, but I’m iffy.) I think the corruption story we’re unlocking is pointing us in that direction.

Me who has been tracked to no one and roleblicked on nights where a redacted flip happened.

I only know one who may have it.
I'm testing the waters to see what may flow

I've never claimed to be restricted in the lively posts I make,
Though being led to that conclusion's a forgivable mistake.
For me this game's a chance for fun, to you I now implore

Lau's moods and methods I've considered
To find the plot therein

I tried to imagine a scum!Lau NL world for the funsies and loled. That's one wild world.

I didn’t call you the Janitor, I said I think there *is* possibly a Janitor *amongst* town admin if they are indeed off-color. And that if they exist, I don’t know if what’s happening to the roles is passive because of Mayor/Chief (what Melehan said, roughly) or if it’s an active ability of theirs. 

You are pretty clearly insinuating that I specifically am, even In your last post just now
