Game Over on Round 5 Day

You’re not wrong- he’s not an alignment cop. And I could be barking up the wrong tree- but as I said, I know roles can not be taken at face value. 

I’m going to read up a bit more and consider the posts a bit more before I officially lock in before bed.

mel has the right combination of pushing and trying to get into your good graces and has been far more obstinate and irrational in their push on me that if I had to pick between the two of them I’d go Mel 99% of the time. Marz it’s been this flavor thing which is ok I guess. Melehan has been dedicated to turn all the evidence that I’m town into a conspiracy that I’m mafia. Even flavor was brought up by them first before Marz. And they tried to use Michi as EVIDENCE FOr me being scum

At the same time, voting for no-lynch would be literally going against her win-con if she's a wolf, same with Aren.

I think scum could have voted no yeet to save Vro (wischland in particular). Or they just didn’t care and that’s why there was no wagon consolidation

You know, you two bounce off of each other a lot. 

I was going over all of the flavor text again. And something caught my eye. 

On the television a reporter named Liam is doing a sit down interview with Max Friedman who appears to be an important political figure. 

"Mr. Friedman you continue to assert that London is safe despite a string of murders over the past several months…" before he can finish Max interrupts. 

"Did anyone die today sir?"

"No but that hardly…"

"We are working tirelessly to stop this crime spree. If nobody died today then we are succeeding."

Now, something I am dead certain of is that the flavor text is important, because it points to characters in the game, confirmed by the existence of Michi and Dolby. 

This implies there’s a politician. And based off of that tidbit, it wouldn’t benefit him if news of deaths got out. We don’t get any info after deaths and it’s referenced further in the text here

In the office of Detective Jacob Lane a report is placed on his desk by an aide. He flips through the pages. The coroner report has been heavily redacted. Every day it feels more and more like someone in the city is trying to make sure this murder is never solved. 

It's impossible to figure out anything from this report.

In the first quote, it’s been made clear that the politician doesn’t want information to get out and that his main goal is to prevent other deaths

And who’s goal has it been since Day 1 to prevent death, something that was noted by multiple players to their surprise. Lau

And when Melehan started coming forward with theories and information, who were the two loudest dissenters? Dolby and Lau. Together at times, I might add. In almost a post floody sort of way. 

I think Melehan is town. I think Dolby and Lau are scum, through and through.

And word of advice: I hope to god your kung fu is stronger than "he's getting along too well with Dolby." Literally all the evidence that has been presented so far has to get twisted to an insane degree to make it work in a Wolby world. Occam's razor says you and Mel are just scum.

Also, in a scum!me world, no-lynch is not what I'd be doing because that would make this game last fucking forever.

Suddenly all of your “Let’s hold hands and sing Kumbaya” strat from early game makes sense. If you’re the politician and your job is to prevent additional death and help cover up the rest, what better way than to get folks to follow you with vague promises of days of NL benefitting town? And who better to work with to dispute chat than the Chief himself, a role who appears innocent at first glance, but can be interpreted much more sinister in the text if folks paid a little too much attention. Which y’all don’t seem to want folks to do since any time I mention it, it’s fluffed out.

I’m willing to bet Melehan is Detective. Particularly Jacob in the text. And them uncovering anything screws y’all because you’re not of the same alignment.

Lemme just come out and say it now: I am Jacob. The reason I worried I was being fucked with was exactly because of the flavour indicating my chief is corrupt. I bread-crumbed it by telling Vro how ironic quoting Jacob was. So, Mel, if you wanna go and claim that, lol. 

They don't make Wolves the way they used to, I swear.

2) Explained consistently why painting Dolby as a Wolf is illogical
