This should either make Ex doing a fakr vig claim, or Dolby is immune to vig shot. I don't know which is more reasonable

Ex did mention his intent to shoot Dolby, so I am assuming he stayed on that decision and didn't choose to shoot anyone else later on

Doubt he did, he acknowledged Melehan’s “don’t shoot Dolby post” iirc

I couldn't wrap my head around Aren's play here, but that was because I was thinking of this as a normal game, where roles and alignments get revealed when people flip. Since that info is redacted, Aren could feel secure with making such a bold lie, seeing as we probably wouldn't know whether Dolby flips Town or not.

The flavour just straight-up does not support Dolby's role as any sort of KP. 

Should my plan fail today, I will mercilessly scum-hunt, and Aren and I are thunder-doming until the end of time.

Correct. As far as from what I was told with regards of interpreting the flavor, the fact that nothing happened on Dolby's night means that he didn't visit anyone, nor was he targeted by anyone unless Mel's theory has merit...but thinking about it Dolby would technically still be targeted in that kind of circumstance, so I'd assume I'd still get some kind of wind of it in the flavor.

However, the fact that I've apparently gotten the same result visiting Aerso is starting to make me wonder if there's some fuckery going around.
