Not replacing anyone.
3) Does your region already have relations with us, or are you requesting an embassy as well?
I'm here to set up an embassy.

1) What made your region decide to pursue relations with Wintreath?
Big region, partial ideological correlation.
2) How do you feel our regions can help each other in the future?
Friendship and possible military cooperation, given good reason.
3) What is your region's military stance? (defender, raider, imperialist, neutral, etc)
We have our own.

Welcome to Wintreath. We briefly discussed The Independent Order back when Wintreath was new, so it's nice to see that there's an interest in relations now. The post about Enlightened Imperialism was a very interesting read as well...I think it has a lot to commend to it. I'm curious, does The Independent Order have any provinces at this time?

Oh yeah! Since you're here, I remember we applied for embassies with Unknown awhile back, but we never received an ambassador from them. Is that something you can help us with?

We don't have any provinces; I imagine we would have only a very small number at any one time regardless, partly because so few regions would be up for that kind of thing and partly because there are other similar programs that would also be actively hunting for willing participants- something something regional glory etc.

I am not a member of Unknown; but at the time I was MoFA, so I can sort of answer. Unknown generally does not automatically send a return ambassador to regions that apply for embassies. We had no ambassadors; we just had me going through all of them, and someone I pestered to cover the embassies in the couple of regions that I'm not welcome in. I didn't add to that list with much enthusiasm. Sorry.

Indeed...I ask because the Riksråd, our Cabinet, was considering a similar policy in some different forms, but we're discussing the same issues of how viable it would be to find regions interested in such an arrangement, amongst other things like becoming an automatic target for raiders and such.

I apologize! For some reason I thought you had founded Unknown, but my knowledge of foreign regions isn't very extensive. In any case, thanks for the explanation.
