There's a new mage in town.

The established mages look on with interest as @Red Mones, previously a stout supporter of mages in this area, takes up the craft himself and moves into the decrypt tower abandoned by Dawcreeke. The apprentices that are still there, dismayed with their abandonment by their former master, throw their lot in with the new master of the tower. What will this mean for those who have been striving for so long? We'll just have to wait and see.

New: Sub Policy
I have to admit, I hadn't even considered taking on subs for Mage Wars until we were talking about it in Werewolf. Going forward, players who have not taken any action in 5 turns will be in danger of being replaced by another player. If members indicate that they want to be subbed in, they will replace current players who have not taken any action in the last 5 turns, in order of the player that has been inactive the longest. If multiple players have been inactive for the same amount of time, the player that will be replaced will be determined by random selection. Subs will retain the apprentices and items of the player they replaced, so they are not at a disadvantage as the game proceeds.

Players who take an action before being replaced, even after 5 turns of inactivity, will safely retain their slot unless and until they're inactive for another 5 turns.

With that being said, there is an additional slot open if anyone else wants to sub in!
