@taulover: Thanks for letting me know, I've fixed that up.

@Gerrick: Sorry, I didn't see your question yesterday. To use it, just state that you're using it and the component that you want to use it on. Using items costs 1AP from your pool, and you don't have to wait for an apprentice to build the component to use it. It is self-building, after all.
