  • Welcome to my campaign! :D

    1) Why are you running for this position? Current incumbent.

    2) What do you aim to accomplish as thane? As part of this, you must include at least one thing that you promise to do beyond the minimum listed duties of the position during your term. It should be measurable, so that it's black and white whether you fulfilled this mandate at the end of the term if you are elected. I've got a few small things on my list, but I think based on last term, I need to think bigger. One thing I mentioned back in a previous campaign, and Laurentus was interested in doing, was having two games running at the same time. Likely a complex game designed for more experienced players, and a more classic version for newer players to cut their teeth and not be thrown in the deep end, so to speak. Given our current queue and scheduling (XKI, then 25, etc.) I'm unsure of that happening this term, but I definitely try to make it happen.

2a) If you are an incumbent running for re-election, did you fulfill your mandate from the September election? If not, why didn't you? The biggest goal was successfully hosting a large-scale game that hopefully injected some life back into our Werewolf/Mafia community. I'd say it was a huge success. Shout out to Silv as well for helping make that happen.

    3) What qualifications or experience do you have in the area that you are running in? I've held 3 terms as Thane of Werewolf.

    4) How do you plan to have the time to fulfill the duties of the position until the next election in June? I generally have the time to play and/or host games, so I should be good.

    5) Are you currently a part of any other NationStates regional or organizational government? If so, please include those regions and positions. Nope

I love seeing such an active and vibrant Werewolf community again. We've got a diverse set of players these days including some new players, some non-NS members, some guests from WW specific forums, and so on. But I think it has come at a cost of some older members feeling overwhelmed with the shift in play style that has come with it. The same thing pretty much applies to anyone who wants to jump into werewolf but can't keep up with 100+ page games, or just people who want to play casually in general. Given our rapid expansion in playerbase, I think it would be best if we could serve both sides of the community without losing one or the other. I think that's my main focus now.

    Thanks for reading! :)
