Wintreath Citizens' Council Elections
Nominate and Stand for Election!

In this topic you may stand or nominate someone else to stand for election for Citizens' Council, the body that represents Citizens to the Cabinet in a joint-group. To qualify as a candidate for Citizens' Council, you must be a Citizens as of the time of this post and may not be a member of the Cabinet in the upcoming term. This means that if someone ran for and won both Citizens' Council and a Thane election, that person would have to choose one or the other.

To run, simply post here stating that you are standing. Nominations will remain open until elections begin on Tuesday, December 1st.

I'll accept for now just to fill out the council again, and because reading the citizen briefings is actually quite enjoyable.

But if someone else wants my spot I'd be more than happy to vacate.  Hmm I wonder if doing something with Citizen's Council akin to the whole "randomly select your council from population of active citizens" would be useful?  It could be a neat little thing!  But then again I could be going off on a limb in the wrong direction there

It would be helpful if you could actually provide feedback to those briefings or to points in them which pique your interest, just to show our Monarchy that I'm not the only Citizen reading them.

Is that called "sortition"? We would need to ask our citizens if they wish to be randomly selecetd for such a thing, and if enough of them show interest, it may be a good idea; otherwise, it would just be a total waste of time and effort.
