So, I'm not sure where we ended up on this, but I think it's a topic revisiting based on where we are now.
The election was already mired in controversy over whether the UH should continue to exist. I ran for re-election, hoping to inspire some activity by spurring some discussion based off of our procedural rules and stuff, the things that we can control.
When Chanku ran for speaker and was elected, I was excited at the prospect of an active UH. I thought that maybe an experienced legislature with a passion for the storting might be able to turn things around, and show what the UH can be like at its best version.
Unfortunately, that has not been the case. After the initial week which saw quite a few proposals, discussions, and debate, we have mostly died down and settled into the inactive UH that we've seen the past few terms.
I don't think this is all to pin on the speaker, since there are 4 members of the UH, and I think we've all failed a bit in that regard. I also understand that there are RL issues that may preclude from someone being so hands on, I completely understand that. However, to have the past 3 Commendation threads to be proposed by the Speaker Pro Tempore, and with the Speaker not voting on any of the threads up to date, is not a good look for the future success of the UH.

@Chanku to give a little update on where things will be going moving forward. Can we expect an increase in activity, or further delegating of responsibility? If you are unable to do so, then I would think it's appropriate for us to select a Skrifa that may be able to be more active and involved in matters to take over the speakership.
