If you are expanding you'd use EP.
DP its used to defend against an attack and if no attack is made its just wasted. I'd advise against defending here as nobody can attack you.

Edit: sorry rereading your post you took two actions you can only do one. Expand defend or attack.

Actually, I changed it to two because I felt it would add for more strategic value. Also, I read it as EP anyway, but yes, he should've wrote down EP.

Edit: I'm gonna change up the action format just a bit. Just so people know what to put down when doing a second action. Keep in mind, this game's practically in early access, so there's plenty of things that either need to be added or balanced.

I get 10 DP (5 base + 5 Egyption culture) per round due to my culture, right?

Also, I don't understand what Hapi meant with the points. I used 10 EP to expand, then 10 DP to defend (which I thought I had due to culture). I thought that was what I was supposed to do?

Don’t worry, you did it right. I think Hapi might’ve read something wrong or forgot about the fact that you can play up to two actions instead of one.
Also, you don’t gain any bonus points during the first round, so I’m only going to count five of your DP. Keep in mind, the point tally shows how many points you have at the beginning of each round.

Because I feel this needs to be addressed; if any of y’all feel that the guide is either confusing or non-informative, please let me know.
