This is a particularly tough choice as both the quantity and the quality of candidates this election makes it hard to decide between them. For me personally, I am voting based on a desire to see increased engagement and increased retention of NS members here on the forum. I'm also voting based on a desire to see a little bit of fresh blood getting some experience in regional politics.

Oh for the days of being able to up the number of seats in the Underhusen! So many great candidates, and I truly wish I could vote for them all.

• Chanku, much as Lau said I think the late campaign hurt you here - I didn't get a chance to quiz you much on your positions and goals for the coming term, and you have to my knowledge been involved in the UH the most over the years so I wanted to give some newer faces a chance.
• Doc, I personally don't feel like turning the region into a dictatorship with Monarch Favourites Rankings :p With so many strong contenders this time around, the humorous approach didn't quite cut it for me.
• Butter, I haven't seen much engagement from you and so cannot in good conscience vote for someone who might not be active enough. I hope to see you grow in the region and I look forward to potential future campaigns from you.
• AJ, it was an even toss-up between you and the other three newer members of the community, and their responses to my questions were more in depth. I look forward to getting to know you better in the coming months and hope you aren't dissuaded from future election runs.

Truly a great range of candidates, though, and I think it's a positive reflection on the future of the region! Best of luck to all of you, and I hope no hard feelings either way.

While Doc wraps Burn It Down in humor, I'm pretty sure the idea is entirely serious and has a somewhat decent following.

AJ is... not a newer member of the community? At least by now he isn't, he's been around since 2017 (so I suppose to me he does feel newer, so fair point), is the reason why the Discord server has the icon that it has had for years, and is a Discord op.

I suppose I will also tack on a comment with my vote since that appears to be in fashion, and agree that the choice here was quite a difficult tossup - all the candidates were great, and I voted for a measure of a balance and diversity of viewpoints and experience, as well as personal opinion of the various campaigns and answers and ice cream socials.
