This topic is intended for those well-read in the workings of Wintreath and/or individuals currently occupying said government positions in Wintreath to provide their insight into constructing a visible diagram/pamphlet for educational purposes.

This will aid me in that I can consolidate information and knowledge here, provide it for review, and edit said information.

This is where I will gather and organize said information.

The information I wish to collect includes the following:
- The purposes for the various segments of Wintreath's government, such as the Storting, Monarchy, etc.
- The mechanisms used by each branch to determine decisions and enact amendments and laws.
- The connections between branches: how is the Overhusen related to the Underhusen, etc.

While some of this knowledge will be found through my own independent study, It would be greatly beneficial for informed individuals to provide their own knowledge, in order to create educational resources more in line with the current form of government.

The issue of updating said educational resources in the future to align with new amendments and decisions will be left for a general discussion and decision.

Question for those in the Executive Branch: what is the difference between Thanes and Jarls?
Jarls are appointed for the Ministries, but what exactly do "Deputy Ministers" Thanes do?

@Voyager sorry for the late reply! Jarls (who are appointed by the Monarch) are like ministers: they lead departments that engage in broad areas of governance. Thanes (who are publicly elected) are like sub-ministers, and are more specialized.

Another question for the Executive Branch: was the Ministry of Intergration combined with the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs?
Also, I cannot find any Thane positions for the Ministry of Defense. Is this intentional or has the Defense Ministry ceased to exist?

@Voyager There is no Ministry of WA Affairs. The WA thaneship is under our Ministry of Internal Affairs. And since the current Thane of Integration is under that same Ministry, then yes, you could say the old Integration Ministry was merged into it.

Also yeah, the Defense Ministry hasn't existed for a couple of years.

Very nice! I like that alot! The only potential changes I could see are renaming the "elections" subheader under Riksråd to "positions", since I assume you'll be doing a separate thing on elections.
