I have now been a citizen of Wintreath for nigh a month.  In addition, I spent a month observing Wintreath in my capacity as an ambassador here.

As many on discord and the forums can second, I have a bit of a gift or curse with words.  I hate campaigning because it always is a bit of a popularity competition.

The gist of most campaigns usually includes some self re-affirming statements.  In lieu of the usual rhetoric, I'll give a summary: I'm a good person.  I think my ideas for Wintreath are good, and you should vote for me.

If I am elected, I'll try not to break anything.  Irreparably.  I primarily vote against legislation that is essentially elegant refuse; however, I'll try to be reasonable according to popular demand.

Yes, I can be a bit nuts, but I have the capacity to be politically correct.  Yes, I have served other regions primarily in foreign affairs and as a raider. 

I'll take questions as to my nationstates history if anyone has questions, but I don't limit myself by past experiences.

Welcome to the campaign, again!

You were once a member of Enadia, as your nation's RMB history shows. On May 25th, 2019, Enadia sent out a notification to foreign ambassadors on their Discord, claiming that you sent an unauthorized recruitment telegram to foreign regions, masquerading as their Minister of Culture, to make it appear that Enadia was recruiting from other regions, presumably to trash their already-poor reputation in other regions. It also alleges that you sent them a malicious recruitment telegram for a region you had recently founded. This is the actual notification:

The culprit is found to be Bridgett - Discord account - Zeroe#7915

They left our server about 2 weeks ago. We've reported the issues to NS mods and have ejected them from Enadia. The nation that sent the TG is deleted from Nationstates by the mods.

We will be taking the necessary course of action to make sure that another event like this does not happen so easily.

I wanted to give you the chance to address these allegations? Are they true? If so, what caused you to take such an action? Do you believe that it was justified to do so?

That reaches back into my memory a bit.

That entire incident was pretty bad, made worse by an inactive spell I had shortly after said incident when judgement was being made.

During my time as Minister of Culture, I did indeed do some recruiting for Enadia using unorthodox recruitment telegrams.  The method I used was based on nation refounding and WA activity.  Some nations from embassied regions were unintentionally sent sent telegrams.  Apologies were made and life went on.

I did indeed create my own region, or rather, I created a region for the secondary "Enadian" discord which was fully NSFW, which me and some other people made together.  After the discord was severed from the region by Latrovia's decision, I left Enadia including my role as Minister of Culture.  My recruitment telegrams were again, unorthodox, but fully within the guidelines set by Max Barry.

At the some point while I was pretty much inactive, the rogue nation which was deleted by the mods, used my region as a stepping stone before going to Enadia and sending the telegram that made people mad- anyone could send recruitment telegrams from Enadia at the time.

Don't get me wrong, I loathe Enadia.  But because I am a curious person, I did go back and telegram United Republic Empire, the long-time Delegate after my period of inactivity to see what that mention was about.  At that point in time, they had absolved me of those accusations based on the mods IP address checking.

This is the best I can do going off of memory, but it is the most honest recollection of the time I have.

I plan to actively represent the apathetic sector of our citizenry to all things convoluted and/or grandiloquent in any votes that come up. Other than that, I will be an interactive government official and a full time student at university and a part time secretary.  And one day, I will own a bakery in either the North or South pole and I will sell cookies and coffee to any and all customers that come my way.

You mentioned at earlier points in time that you were a part of Confederation of Corrupt Dictators. Given the recent revelations (Their attempt at subverting TNP, Failure to report Doxxing attempt, Open Embracement of Fascism) what do you currently think of this?

Gosh.  I'm sorry for not checking my campaign again apparently for a week?  I thought I was keeping an eye o... nevermind.

I do not know what a doxxing is.  Other than an adorable breed of dog, that is.

I think subverting the North Pacific is an excellent cause, one that has been the aim of cough many nations cough even to the point where coup memes are part of everyday life in the North Pacific.  However, as I am retired from a life on the seven seas, I bring no desire to decapitate the governing body of the North Pacific with me to office.

Finally Fascism.  Alliteration unintentional, but self-appreciated.  I have no problem with Fascism.  Minor fascist events in history have become stories of heroes.  George Washington, sacrificing lives left and right to kill noble British soldiers, led a fascist army and made the US of A possible.  Franklin Roosevelt, who was so loved by the people that he almost became a monarch figure, resulting in the twenty second amendment after his tragic demise.  Sadly my global education is lacking in that my examples are limited to the US of A. (wait...)
While I can't claim to have been active in the Confederation, lacking citizenship and whatnot, I defend their right to make a region as they please barring violation of Max Barry's rules.

I have no questions. I just look forward to seeing how you engage with other parts of the community outside the Discord. I have a good feeling about your future in regional governance.
