  • Not really. Gally and Aragonn still top my list of most suspicious because of how hard they pushed for Ruguo to be lynched on no town info. As I pointed out, it could be part of a bus ploy to gain town cred by taking a wolf out D2.

  • Yeah! Now we're on the right track. ^-^

Now that we know Ruguo was a wolf, that gives us more data to work with. Namely, it casts more suspicion on Crush, who Ruguo went out of their way to protect that first round. And Melehan sure went full throttle in defending Ruguo and casting suspicion on those voting for them, didn't she? On the other hand, Melehan has put out her own bus ploy hypothesis implicating Gally and Aragonn, which seems suspicious to me coming from someone that is now known to have been all-in on defending a wolf, but also isn't impossible.

And that seems to be where we are. :P

That... would be an extremely, extremely aggressive and ill-advised move to pull on Day 2. Only the most depraved, ridiculous, goldfish-sized attention span, most hyperactive of hyperactive goofballs would ever even consider doing something like as a wolf -- even if it was for purely the shits and gigs.

    Wait...

    Reads what he just wrote.

    Oh.

Okay, nevermind. I get it now, I get it.  :D

In the interests of moving forward, Mars recent activity, vote timing and more-subdued-than-is-the-average-for-Marsbar has spiked my Gallydar™. Hey, that rhymed, haha.

Anyway, I'll provide a full soul reads list in a bit in the coming hours so long as I'm not assassinated by Mars first for calling her Marsbar.  :-\

  • Like I said, theories of suspicion are half the fun.

It's certainly going to be interesting to see who does or doesn't die tonight.

(Hopefully not me because I'd like to make it to N3 at least once. >.>)

I legit can't decide if your heart's in the right place but just for all the wrong reasons, or you instead decided going rabidly all-in to the hilt against Aragonn and I once it seemed our  fairly logical, fairly well-explained (not to mention super spot-on :))) call-out of Ruguo had the village consensus tide start (mostly) ceding to the reasoning.

Because the latter would, at first glance, seem like the former. Especially when you factor in you wouldn't expect Team Woofs to go the aw-shucks-I-can't-help-it-cuz-I'm-just-super-darn-Team-Village-to-the-core-reverse-psychology-play, twice in a row, back-to-back.

Not necessarily implying either one either way, I just want to get it out there into the ether in case it needs a potential revisiting later on.

But I totes mcgotes totally get going all in on the soul read theories -- prolly my favorite part, honestly. But... it's just that refusing to believe that Aragonn and I weren't just simply trying to help, just as it seemed, and were instead batshit-crazily pitching an out-of-the-left-field-parking-lot, triple-double-agent-turn, betrayal bus throw twist?

That's just bonkers at best and potentially steering the village straight off the side of a cliff-esque sinister at worst.

But again, I kind of get where you're coming from as that's exactly the type of random, nutball shenanigan shit I always try and convince my fellow baddies to try out while chillin like villains up in the woofs den.

However, even I definitely wouldn't risk pullling something like that this early, though.

And most importantly, I most absolutely, posiiiitiiiiivelyyyy wouldn't have had let poor Ruguo/Silver be chosen as the scheme's sacrificial pawn. What do you think I am, some kind of soulless monster?  :o

Silver's, legit, like... one of the nicest, kindest people in the history of people -- I wouldn't have been able to live with myself for a good day or two pulling some shizzle like that.

And I get this is kind of a weird way to try and convince you I'm Team Village Peeps, but... I dunno. Hopefully it makes sense. Plus I'm already like fucking 450+ words deep into this behemoth -- and on my phone no less! -- so no fucking way am I not sharing this (hopefully somewhat sensible) shitshow of a post now. :P

But anywho, in closing -- and oh yes, I do know this is a Chili's, ma'am, thank you, though -- gun to my head, I don't actually subscribe to the latter wolf theory above for you. At least not really. If I analyze anything too long I tend to be able to comvince myself of damn mear anything, so that'll be enough down the rabbit hole for now.

Although, you're definitely still on the POI list, though. I mean, as is most everyone left to an extent what with it still being Day/Night 2 and all.

Marsbar's still reigning at the tippity-toppy-tops of that list as well. Fa sho sho.

    (HI MARS!)

  • I like Gally's spunk. His charisma score must be pretty damn high.

I have one person in my sights (Crushita) and one person on my radar (Melehan). Ruguo was defending Crush on day 1. That's got me 85% certain he's a wolf too. And Melehan is rubbing me the wrong way. No offense Mel, but you're sowing the seeds of doubt and attempting to discredit Gally and I possibly in an attempt to prevent future piles led by us. And I don't appreciate that. But it is Werewolf, so I understand.

  • I'll just point out my entire argument was that Gally was likely a wolf. I never argued that Ruguo was not or could not have been a wolf. In other words, saying "this person is suspicious; we should lynch them" doesn't negate "this other person is suspicious; we should lynch them", and Gally just happened to rank waaaaaay higher on my suspicion list than Ruguo.

Though you have to admit that it's pretty suspicious when the same three folks are following the exact same line of logic, especially this early in the game...

  • When someone defends another on a "gut feeling" without the other doing anything that might sway the person over to their side, it's obvious what's going on. Well, apparently obvious to everyone except you.

  • Sorry for the double post, but I've gotta say this too.

When you cast doubt on a player's intentions, you place doubt on the validity of said person's claims against another person. You've effectively discredited them.

  • Alright, so a summary of the N2 actions:

Both Sapphiron and Melehan, the town Role Blocker N1 and N3, and Doctor N1 and N3 respectively have been killed and removed from the game. May the great Tuber have mercy on their souls.

And on that cheery note, it is time for the day phase again!

  • Well, in my mind that turn of events gives Aragonn about a 90% chance of being Town.
If my logic doesn't make sense, let me explain:
Nobody has been gunning for Melehan over this last night phase more. With Melehan revealed to be Town, Scum can nominally rest easy in the thought that there is now a great huge fucking target painted on Aragonn's chest.
I figure there's about a 10% chance they knew that and deliberately had Aragonn do this, but it's around as big a risk as it would be for hypothetical Aragonn-as-Scum bussing on Ruguo Day 2. One big gamble, I'll bite. Two in a row? That's a little too aggressive (and more importantly, a little too early, since the stakes are still relatively low with most Scum still in the game) to be plausible to me.
