Hello, everyone. My name is North. I have been an ambassador, cabinet member, UH member and Speaker in the region at various points of my time here since 2015. I have seen many things in our history from the 2nd ConCon to the birth of the discord and everything in between. The best of times and worst of times. Wintreath has and will always have a special place in my heart, alongside all the great people and friends I have made during my time here.

Wintreath is and always has been a region of change. A region in motion, a region in flux. As people come and they go the region changes around them, along with the people in it. It is one of the best things about the region, at the end of the day, the ability of the region to change. Recently, however, both the region and I have changed. Wintreath is a great place full of great people....but I no longer feel like it has a place for me anymore. I want to be clear that this is not because of the community, I love the community. I just feel like the time has come for me to leave. So I will be leaving Wintreath next month, after my term in the UH comes to an end. And I am probably leaving permanently.

I shall always cherish the memories and the people I met here, all of you. I wish you all the best.

While I do hope it isnt permanent, I do understand feeling like there isnt a place for you, as I've had similar feelings elsewhere off of here (not with Wintreath).  Whatever you decide, I wish you the best in your endeavors and hope that we can still keep in contact in some level.

Thank you for the work you've contributed and in general just being a friend to many including myself.  You'll be greatly missed.

Pengu has said most of what I was going to say so I will mainly echo his words.

I am sorry to see that you are leaving, hopefully you will still stick around in some capacity (like for Werewolf and outside games).  While I didn't join until relatively recently you have been around during that time and fun to talk to and play games with.  I have seen some of the work you have contributed to the region and I am sure that it has been appreciated by more than a couple of people in the region over the course of the time that you have been here.

I am very familiar with the feeling of being an outsider without much of a place in a group or community so I can understand why you are feeling this way and while I might have considered trying to talk you out of it, I am guessing your mind is already made up.  Because of this, I will say see you around and hopefully some more fun can be had before you leave.

Hopefully we can still maintain some contact and play games at various times.
