Absolutely.  I plan to write some more to keep them going, and I can write up an article when I get home.

I shall do culture review. I may contribute more if I have time.

So, now that Kiwi seems to be resuming this, I wanna say that there should also be an article covering the March cabinet elections and the January Underhusen elections. If there are any other regional events that need to be talked about then those should be talked about too.

We have someone who has expressed a desire to write about the Underhusen elections from January; I agree that these recent Thane elections should be covered, especially with how close they seemed (a tie for Integration, wow!). I intend to get very busy with this in the next week; i have an exam to study for next Monday and will be more free after that.

This next Orendi will be made in BBCode, with pictures and palatable formatting.

Shares in Wintreath’s “I Voted” sticker manufacturing industry have never been more valuable following a bumper election season which saw turnover in both the executive and legislature.

March saw the election of a new tranche of Thanes, the junior ministers of Wintreath who work alongside the senior Jarls appointed by the monarch. Emoticonius was elected unopposed to head up the region’s embassy programme, while Excalibur and Pengu were also approved unanimously to lead Wintreath’s Roleplay and Werewolf games respectively.

In the competitive elections Kiwi_Kebab triumphed over Dawcreek to lead work on our Orendi dispatch, AJ Blarg was chosen to take over the region’s gaming division, and BraveSirRobin relinquished the World Assembly delegacy to Katie after nearly three years of service.

But none of these would match the drama of the race to become the new Thane of Integration, where Mathyland and Laurentus were left on equal footing after one round of voting, with Mathyland eking out the competition in a run-off ballot.

Seemingly as soon as they had sputtered out, the campaign machines were back up and running for the Underhusen elections. With nine candidates standing for five seats in the legislature’s lower chamber, Laurentus, Hapi, Pengu, Doc and AJ were victorious (after a single round, thankfully).

May promises to be a mercifully quiet month, but Thane elections loom fresh on the horizon in June. We’ll keep you up-to-date with whatever fresh drama awaits.

BraveSirRobin relinquished the World Assembly delegacy to Katie on the brink of becoming NationStates’ longest-serving delegate.

Surely there have been longer-serving delegates in all of NS history?

Yeah...Wintreath history maybe, but I feel like there are other regions that have had the same delegates for far longer.

I may be completely misremembering but I think @Wintermoot mentioned in Discord that he was close to setting a record? This was a while ago though so I’m probably off.
