Greetings, new Underhusen! Now that the election is finally over, we need to go about the business of selecting a new Speaker. Over the next 48 hours, please post here if you are interested in standing for Speaker...afterwards we will have a 48 hour election to determine who it will be unless only one person stands.

I could potentially stand for speaker. However, I think Mars would be best fitted for the role. That being said, she might kill me for saying that

Given how I'm newer to this region as a whole, I will stand, but, I'm going to discourage you from voting for me. haha this won't backfire

It's (a little past) time to vote! Your candidates are Doc, Marzipan, and German.

Hmmm, what a tough position. On the one hand I fully trust Marzipan and German but I would not want to add to their workload considering they already have a huge amount on their plate with their positions in Thalassia, they bear a large burden I would rather not add too.

So I shall vote for @Doc to be Speaker.
